Ridgeview Canyon
Peaceful and dry
Great except that there was no water. Pasha explained there was a fire at the well (or something like that) and they hadn't gotten it rebuilt. Otherwise, it was great.

Ridgeview Canyon
We had a pleasant stay among the wild flowers, prairie grass, butterflies and birds. They only host one guest at time so our dogs could be off lease, we could enjoy the sounds of nature without the annoying grind of generators. They also allow up to 10 guests, which it would easily accommodate. It is right outside of Castle Rock so stores are close by and it is easy access to anything in the area. However, the convenient location also puts this spot on the edge of suburban sprawl in an area that is in the process of being built upon. The canyon is more of a ravine, but it is pretty and great for kids to explore. If your looking for a peaceful and convenient place to camp while doing things in the Castle Rock area this site hits the mark.

Ridgeview Canyon
Wonderful camping spot
Our family of 6, with kids ranging from 6-11 yrs really enjoyed our camping trip from Friday to Sunday. We also brought our 3 boxer dogs who loved running freely around the space. There was a fifth wheel parked in the distance. Friends of the property owner were also camping there and they introduced themselves (very nice) and kept to themselves the rest of the time. The grass is tall which gave an added layer of privacy and we found a mowed spot of grass to park our 32 ft trailer. There is a distant house being constructed on the property and the workers stopped Friday at 5pm and weren’t disruptive during our stay. The potable water location was being repaired during our stay and the owner offered to have us fill up water at their home. There was a nice breeze coming from the nearby canyon and we were able to use our generator for electricity but found we didn’t need to use it often since our children were having so much fun playing games outside. We felt safe and relaxed during our trip and we would love to camp on the property again someday!

Ridgeview Canyon
Gorgeous Private Canyon View
Very private spot with amazing views! Pasture with canyon and plenty of room for our Ranger (OHV 4 wheeler) to play. Lots of wildlife, we saw deer every night and even some little baby deer! Very quiet and a perfect getaway from our busy lives! So thankful to have found this spot!
