Property borders the Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument. Campsite is on private, beautiful, quiet 26 acres of ponderosa, spruce, fir and aspens with a wonderful view of Badger Mtn. Cripple Creek, Woodland Park and Eleven Mile Reservoir are appx 30 mins away; Breckenridge and Buena Vista about an hour; Mueller State Park and Eleven Mile Canyon being appx 15 mins away. Enjoy a game of corn hole and stargazing at your campsite. Campsite equipped w/ sun shower and camp toilet. Please note, this is a tent site only with no access for camper trailers. Our tent is furnished with a queen-sized bed. An additional cot or bedding on the floor for smaller children can be provided at no extra cost. You may also set up your own tent (only one) for two additional guests (four guests total) for no extra charge.Welcome to Camp Kan-Ne-Ga which is Ute for home. Relax in our glamping tent which accommodates a queen size bed with views of Badger Mtn and the Florissant Fossil Bed Nat'l Monument from the door, deck or site area. Enjoy hiking trails on property or visit surrounding attractions. You will have complete privacy with the owner's residence being a 1/4-mile hike from the glamp site.

Camp Kan-Ne-Ga

Extraordinary stay. WOW.

We’ve stayed at a few HipCamps but Will’s place was incredible. For context it was me, my sister, nephew (3) and daughter (15 months). This is a hidden gem and I’m already planning a trip for next summer. 12/10 recommend! 1) The spot: WOW. The glamping tent was clean, welcoming and thoughtfully put together. There is a fire pit, hammocks, a solar shower/toilet, table for cards and more. There is even a stargazing spot down a path with a stunning view of the mountains. The photos truly don’t justice! 2) Privacy/location: the spot is tucked away in the woods and you’re surround 360 degrees by mature pine trees. It is SO private, yet easy to get to - just a mile or so off the road. I read on the review it’s 1/4 of a mile away from Will’s house but honestly felt much farther because it is SO private. 3) the host: we were greeted on time by Will, who is so friendly and helpful. We chatted as he showed us all the amenities (lighter, toilet, extra blankets, etc.) and we felt like we’d known him forever. I was confident that if anything happened, Will would help us without hesitation. You will not regret booking this spot. In fact, you’ll only regret not booking it for longer!

Will’s camp is so peaceful. Everything was clean and in good shape. Our dog loved exploring the land and we enjoyed stargazing along with the tranquility of a beautiful camp with many amenities. Highly recommend !

Camp Kan-Ne-Ga

First time camping with kids

Perfect spot for first time tent camping with a 5 year old and 3 year old! Will and Carrie are beyond sweet! We loved that they greeted us when we first arrived along with their dog Rover! They had everything you could think of, gas grill along with grilling supplies, utensils to roast our marshmallows, water jugs, and plenty of camp fire wood. They had an axe as well, my husband enjoyed cutting up some wood! My toddler enjoyed relaxing in the hammock along with collecting sticks and pine cones. My husband and son enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the beautiful, they even had a little scare and lost track on how to get back to the camp site. They did manage to find their way back ultimately had a blast doing that. My toddler and I enjoyed snuggling up in the hammock watching the sun set. This is definitely the perfect spot for first time camping as a family and being able to expierence tent camping. It has definitely inspired us and won’t be the last time that we camp as a family. We’ve already been raving to our family and friends how nice this camp site was. Thanks again for hosting us Will, Carrie. & Rover

Camp Kan-Ne-Ga is magical!

Will and Carrie sure put in some time and effort making this camp site magical! If you want a good Glamping experience then I suggest staying and making your own memories. We recommend the new star gazing spot. It was a great addition along with all the other amenities offered! We’ll be back!!!
