Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Introducing ZAKAR – an Overland Terrain Park and Event Center serving the motorcycle, 4x4 overland and off-road community. In all of North America there is no place like ZAKAR. It's an off-road focused motorsports event center with a full range of hospitality services and a professionally built Terrain Park for training or product demos. ZAKAR is owned by RAWHYDE Adventures and sits on 100 acres in the heart of the Mojave Desert, just two hours north of Los Angeles. Ride straight out the gate onto endless miles of BLM land: dirt bikes, adventure bikes, overlanding rigs and side-by-sides all welcome. HOW ZAKAR IS LAID OUT The whole property is fenced and secure. Inside the perimeter fence is the OUTER AREA: open desert tent camping, RV sites with 50-amp power (dry camping, no water or dump), and 4 cabins that sleep 4 each with bedding provided. Outer-area guests have porta potties and their own fire pit, with firewood provided. Through the inner gate is the CLUBHOUSE: 16 private single rooms in converted shipping containers, shared bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, the dining room with drinking water, the kitchen, and the big inner fire pit. Private room guests get clubhouse access included. Tent, RV and cabin guests can add a Clubhouse Pass ($12 per person, per night) for showers, flush toilets, drinking water, the dining room and the inner fire pit. Note: drinking water is inside the clubhouse only. Bring your own water if you're staying in the outer area without a pass. Pets welcome on leash.

Pitch your tent anywhere in our huge, flat camping area inside ZAKAR's secure, fully fenced property. The ground is soft and there's plenty of room to spread out. There are no assigned spots, so pick the one you like, with big desert skies and mountain views all around. Porta potties and a campfire ring with firewood provided are right in the camping area. Want a hot shower? Add a Clubhouse Pass ($12 per person, per night) for flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, the dining room and the big inner fire pit. Ride straight out to endless miles of BLM land for dual-sport, adventure bikes, overlanding and side-by-sides. Pets welcome on leash.

Secure RV Camping with Power

Park your RV, trailer or camper inside ZAKAR's secure, fully fenced property. The big, open, level area has room for rigs up to about 45 ft with slideouts, plus big desert skies and mountain views. 50-amp electric power is available. This is dry camping: there are no water or sewer hookups and no dump station, so arrive with fresh tanks. Porta potties and a campfire ring with firewood provided are right in the camping area. Want a hot shower? Add a Clubhouse Pass ($12 per person, per night) for flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, the dining room and the big inner fire pit. Private Room (Inner Clubhouse Access)

Your own private single room in a converted shipping container, located inside ZAKAR's inner gated clubhouse area. Bedding is provided: sheets, pillow and sleeping bag are on the bed, so just bring yourself and your gear. Room guests get full inner-area access at no extra charge: shared bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, the dining room with drinking water, the commercial kitchen area, and the big inner fire pit (firewood provided). Roll out the gate and you're on endless miles of BLM land for dirt bikes, adventure bikes, overlanding and side-by-sides. Secure, fenced property with parking for your rig. Pets welcome on leash.
