So easily accessible and close to where we spent our time in Los Angeles. No fuss involved in getting to the spot. We arrived after dark and set up camp without any issues. The host was extremely communicative and helpful. I knew that if we needed anything he would be there to support.

I love the accessibility and how secluded it feels to stay at Eric’s place. His place could be the most quickest getaway from all the busyness in LA!

When we arrived we had not received any instructions on how to enter the property or where to park. In the photos on the listing a wooden structure was shown that guests were using and a wooden outhouse toilet. The wooden structure was dirty, there were weeds covering the entrance, there was bird faeces on the the floor, tubs full of supplies that were all dirty, black piping and shovels were in the structure and it appeared like the land next to the structure was being cleared and they had left their tools in the wooden structure. We could not locate the toilet and when I messaged to ask Eric, he stated the toilet wood had blown down in a storm and that we now had to walk up to or drive up and park next to an empty caravan where we could use the toilet (no instructions had been provided about this prior to our booking and it was not in the listing). Eric advised us we could go and try to find the toilet base in the bushes and use that without any protection around us. Eric also said RVs usually park up near the cone near the caravan, but no instructions were provided to us regarding this until we we were set up near the wooden structure (which eric is now stating is only for tent camping). We felt very deceived by the listing. There was no mention of the toilet being blown down, we did not feel safe parking near his house and using a toilet in a dark caravan. We would have never made this booking if we had known this prior to arriving there. Don't recommend.

This was a great spot! It felt very private and loved being able to set up our tent on a platform! It feels like you are disperse camping yet you have tons of restaurants, hikes, anything you need just minutes away.

Circle driveway is on the south side of the road. Across the street from a big, well lit house. Camping spot is marked by a cone. You don’t have to go down any steep hills.

Once again Eric was an absolutely amazing host! He is so kind and we love his dog buttercup who got along with our pooch just great. Eric was quite accommodating to our needs going above and beyond anything we even asked for he even put a mat down in front of RV for us and help move it to a good spot with some shade for our dog.
He is a welder and it was really cool to see his new sign and his shop and see how the property is shaping up since we were here last year.
We love Eric and his place and we will definitely be back!

Eric is easy to communicate with. We stayed two nights in his RV site while visiting the northern Los Angeles area. Plenty of space for both 30' RV and car, right off the road, easy pull-thru, and a good nights' sleep. We took a walk down to the spring the first evening there -- didn't spot the hawks, but the area down there is beautiful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Eric was a great and super communicative host - it sounds like he will update his listing soon to reflect the improvements he has made on site - there's now a flushing toilet outhouse and a kind of open air cabin in which you can pitch a tent off the ground. Excited to see how that develops but it certainly already makes camping a lot more civilized! The site was easy to find and dog friendly too. We will definitely be happy to stay again when climbing at Texas Canyon. Thanks Eric!

Awesome spot for getting out of the city and relaxing with friends (and/or in my case gf and dogs). Lots of land and a cool hiking path/road with views of the mountains.

This was a great place to crash for the night as we were exploring magic mountain and LA. Eric was such a sweet and friendly person and we loved his dog, Buttercup. He went out of his way to find a tent site for us, marking it with solar lighting so we could find it at night and we had a restful night.

We had a great stay. Very private. Bit close to the road, but we absolutely didn’t hear the cars on our spot. Eric is a great and kind host. We were happy to stay here on our way to Joshua Tree away from crowded LA.

Great spot with great access. Not that far for Los Angeles. Eric is the best host: accessible and always available to enhance our experience. Definetly recommanding this camping spot and we would go back 100%.

Beautiful view from one side. The other side is a country road, with light traffic -- but just set up your site on the oppose side of your trailer, and wallah -- it's private again. Overall, a very nice camping spot, and it's a pull-through -- so we'd recommend!

We enjoyed our weekend at Vasquez Canyon. Nice location, easy to pull through and set up the camper. We enjoyed watching the goats on the hill side and hiking in the area. Thank you!

Great host. His daughter showed my kids her tree house, pumpkin patch, and hills to jump on. Gorgeous location near where 1950s western movies were filmed. A bit close to a road is the one drawback.
