Hi! We look forward to the opportunity of hosting you! Please make sure you read this entire section to ensure a mutual fit. Please also make sure that you message us the type and length of your vehicle/camper/RV when sending a booking request. People that stay with us love our views. The view from our large driveway where you'll be parked faces north where you will see the 3 largest peaks in the region, and at the top of our driveway you can see the ocean and downtown San Diego. The sunsets are unreal! Our guests also love the recommendations. As avid travelers that fell in love with San Diego, we can offer recommendations for the best restaurants for any dietary situation, beaches, breweries, bars, surf spots, distilleries, coffee shops, hikes, or whatever you are into. When you submit a request or message, please let us know what kind of vehicle you have, especially the length. Please note that if the total length of your vehicle (for those with trailers that includes the length of the truck nad hitch) should be under 33 ft. This is a general guideline since we've found some people with larger vehicles struggle to turn around in our driveway. Also please let us know if you plan to use electricity or water, and add on the electricity since this costs us a lot of money. San Diego Gas and Energy charges the most for energy than anywhere else in the country (our average electricity bill is over $700 per month) so we unfortunately have to pass on some of these costs if you decide to plug in. Wifi and water are free. Last, if you tell us a little about yourself and what you're looking to do in San Diego we can try to make your stay more enjoyable with conversation and recommendations. A little about us: After spending a few years traveling around the world (mostly in a 20ft converted sprinter campervan) and working remotely, we chose San Diego to settle down and start a family. Our house is a fixer-upper with about an acre of land. We recently added a garden, citrus trees, grill, patio, and plan to add more amenities for campers. We love our home and the land around it, and we hope you do too! We are open to both short-term and long-term stays. We thank you for sharing our space that we call the Crest Co-op, and we thank you for contributing to our never-ending-projects-fund.

Site number one has a beautiful view and is right next to a large pepper tree for shade. I really enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and peaceful. As of right now there is a landscaping renovation being done at Ray’s house, but it did not interfere with my stay or my peace at all. I heard an owl in the quiet of the night, which was lovely. Ray is a very good communicator.

This is my second time staying on Raymond’s property and it was just as great as before! He let me know there was some major landscape renovations in progress before accepting my request but it was no problem for me. It’s a short drive from San Diego and is an excellent and safe option if you need a place to stay.

Amazing place to stay! The view + the seclusion. You weren’t totally alone because you could see some small town action down below on the mountain but it was not noisy. The lights just added to the charm. I couldn’t recommend enough and the showers and bathroom were so new and clean.

The campsite is pretty much as advertised. It has a very nice view, it’s quiet, and if you don’t mind driving a bit, it’s not a bad location to go do things in San Diego. We think it’s too small of a space to have two campsites, we’d be much more likely to recommend it if it was only one spot. The Hosts are very nice and welcoming.

Great communication from the host! We loved the spot, and it had a nice view. Definitely suitable for vans / rigs under 23’ ish feet, otherwise a tight squeeze. FYI - our Google maps took us to the neighborhood behind based on coordinates - make sure to use address and look at street name.

Raymond is a wonderful host and very helpful for when I was car camping at site one for a week. He provided a bin for me to do my dishes in and he let me use the water hose when needed. I felt very safe staying on this property with a beautiful view to wake up to! Every night you’d hear a beautiful creature chirp noises nearby which is very snoozing ! I would definitely rate staying here 5 stars.

Raymond’s property was perfect of my needs. I was in a sprinter van with my 2 dogs. It is an extension of his driveway and he allows you to be in his yard as well. So my dogs enjoyed being able to roam. I was able to charge my batteries and fill up my water. I actually ended up extending my stay 1 night. I liked knowing I had a safe place to park at night so I could stay out at the beach till late and then drive to his place and park for the night.

Great spot, easy to find. Beautiful view of the San Diego hills! I would definitely recommend if you're looking to be in San Diego :). The lights at night are spectacular and the driveway is nice and quiet if you're looking to sleep in like we did.

Raymond’s spot is perched with a wonderful view down a ravine, looking over a valley. The view is spectacular. I had to level my van a bit as the asphalt wasn’t totally even, but did not have difficulty with that. Raymond was so gracious as a host, even though his wife was very pregnant at the time and so they were a bit otherwise occupied! Great stay and would stay again, quiet street!!
