Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Julian in the neighborhood of Wynola! Located conveniently just off the 78 for easy access but the space and quiet of being deep in the mountains. Tent camp in our meadow with room to roam and explore the natural rock features, big oaks and other flora and fauna of the area. We have two compost toilets avaliable for guests with water access. Perfect location for enjoying all of the fun Julian has to offer: 🍎 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive through the Calico orchard to enjoy local wild fermented cider made from Julian apples, pears, quince and more. 🥑 Need to stock up on snacks? We’re just a few minutes drive from Patchwork Market farm stand with great local produce and vintage goods. 🍕🌮 Less than 10 minutes drive to all kinds of food options. Our favorites are Julian Beer Company & Quecho but ask for more recs! 🐴 Next door to a horse sanctuary, Hills of Gold Equine Sanctuary, where you can volunteer or book a private experience to get hands on with 6+ rescue horses. 🌲 So many trails to explore in the local Cuyamaca State Park or Santa Ysabell Nature Preserve. We recommend the Santa Ysabell East trail for a mellow hike through rolling meadow amongst lots of cows!Escape the hustle of the city with a trip to Julian. We invite you to camp out and relax in the peaceful meadow at Stone Meadow Ranch! Guests will have access to wander through the ~9 acres of open meadow space to get to know the flora and fauna of the Wynola area including admiring giant oak trees older than us, climbing on beautiful exposed rock outcroppings, bird watching and more. Depending on the time of year guests may be able to do you-pick flower cutting from the beautiful lavender, sweet pea or daffodils that grow on the property. Guests can easily access 2 outdoor composting toilets and will have access to water. Live on-site land stewards will be available if other needs come up. Walking distance to Calico Cidery, farmhouse style cidery and apple/pear orchard. About 2 minutes drive to a bakery voted best pies in Julian, pizza/bar with live music all weekend long, farm-to-table restaurant, antique shops, and farm experiences at Julian Farm and Orchard and Fort Cross. Downtown Julian is an easy 8 minute drive with other amenities including Julian Beer Company brewery. We're happy to provide recommendations for our favorite hikes and outdoor adventures which are just a 10-30 minute drive away. Easy access to apple picking in the fall season. Tent Camping At Stone Meadow Ranch

Loved the stay at stone meadow. Idyllic spot, the giant oak tree alone makes it special. An owl came out just at sunset and perched on a tree near by. Dogs enjoyed sniffing and running around. Would definitely stay here again, might come back to climb Volcan or to check out Wynola which is only a 20 min walk.

Tent Camping At Stone Meadow Ranch

We had such a great time camping at Stephen’s Stone Meadow Ranch site! It was the perfect spot to enjoy with the pups! Cory and Jess were amazing when we arrived! And we found the spot to be plenty private for our family’s weekend getaway! Well definitely recommend and return!
