Lily's Hideout - Site #24
Fun campsite, but gets ridiculously hot and miserable during the daytime. Check weather before going. Water is very refreshing though.

Great fun time
It was a fun place to camp, small and quiet just what we were looking for. Water is close to get to. Nice place

Wasn't Sure What to Expect
This was both our first time camping with hipcamp and camping in California. Having moved down from Washington, it was a very different experience. We weren't really sure what to expect with this site, for what it is, it's a nice site, but I wish our expectations had been lower. In no particular order: 1. Many of the pictures/reviews make it seem as though the sites are right along the water, they are not. It is only a couple minutes of walking to get to the boat launch to be able to enjoy the water, but it isn't right there. 2. The indoor plumbing is nice, and those bathrooms were clean while we were there. Our site (#10) was one of the furthest away, there is a portajohn much closer, but it was ripe, to say the least, the entire time. 3. The site are all much closer together than we thought they'd be. With the small amount of trees, you don't get a lot of privacy between sites and nothing stops the noise from other campers who lack awareness of their noise pollution. 4. The listing says there is full shade in the morning at this site, we were there 6/26 - 6/29 and that is false, this site is almost pure sun all day. Without a pop tent or tarps for shade it would have been unbearable to be at the site all day. 5. The camps hosts were kind and attentive. We had an issue finding them when we first arrived, but were able to find our site and reached out to them via text/the app. They also brought ice directly to our site after mentioning the pervious day that we'd want some

Circle Up Group Camp - Site #15
Great find!
We had such a great time! This was our family camp trip with kids and grandkids. We had the space all the way at the end and there was plenty of room. It was pretty hot during the day but cooled down nice at night. We were furthest from the bathrooms but had a portable close. There are not that many camp sites and they are spread out so it definitely isn't cramped like other camp sites. We cooled down in the lake and had a blast! It was the grandkids highlight, lol. Trina and John were the nicest people and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Recommend for sure!

Butterfly Woods - Site #3
We had such a great time! We were a large group with 6 adults and 5 kids. Trina accommodated us at the site #3! The bathrooms and showers are well taken care of and Trina was super friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the lake and rented the kayaks and paddle board! Everything exceed our expectations! Definitely coming back. Thank you!
