Reef Campground stands out as a unique first-come, first-served developed campground, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the natural beauty just south of historic Fort Ross. This picturesque location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, providing a variety of activities such as diving, fishing, hiking, surfing, exploring tide pools, picnicking, whale watching, and bird watching. Whether you're looking to relax in the sun or embark on an adventure, Reef Campground has something for everyone. The campground features 20 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations accepted. Each campsite can accommodate up to six people, making it ideal for families or groups. Please note that Reef Campground is currently a dry campground, with chemical toilets available for visitor use. Drinking water can be purchased at the Fort Ross Visitor Center, which is also the location for check-in between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Campsites are available for use starting at 1 p.m., and check-out is required by 11 a.m. Tent camping is the only option at this time, as the campground cannot accommodate trailers, campers, or RVs due to limited space and turning capabilities. Vehicle parking is available in a designated Day Use
