Beware for some
26 ft travel trailer · With pets
I couldn’t make it to the site. I’ve been a full-time Nomad 8 years and this was in my top 5 scariest experiences. I was towing a 26’ trailer with a 2WD F150 (at 70% of tow capacity and with good tires) and got near the top of the dirt road hill and my truck lost traction and began sliding backwards down the dirt road. My trailer almost jackknifed twice and it caused damage. Then I had to back down the long single lane road.
There were also two large dogs without collars that followed me all the way up and down the road and caused me concern about my dog.
I boondocked in the nearby casino for the night and regrouped.
The owner text an apology in the morning and refunded the rent minus fees. The listing should be updated to reflect the road conditions. It was a bad night but could have ended a lot more badly for me.

Do it! Views and stars
Tent
Best part was the views. Top of the hill right by the camp gives a 300° view over the valleys. Very private, rustic but picnic table and bench was nice touch. We lay in the tent and looked at the stars. Some light pollution both sides of the hill but still fantastic star gazing and we saw the Milky Way. Twilight barking was a thing, appreciate the local doggies. 100 percent would recommend, make sure if you get there when sun is up you have a means of shade, there is none naturally.

Camping under the stars on a hill
Tent
A dirt clearing on a hill is just what I needed! The directions got me there easily and the host was helpful in providing amenities and even let me use a sleeping pad when I had forgotten mine. Great stars at night🤘
