I’ve been coming to this spot for 4 years and hands down it is one of my favorites! It is so relaxing to wake up next to the river. Very secluded and private. I’ve been in Summer and Fall and both times are amazing to visit. Hosts are very attentive with texting you check in details etc., and very sweet making sure you enjoy your stay. I almost want to keep this place my little hidden gem because I love it so much! I’ve sent all my friends the listening and everyone is always eager to book a trip. Do yourself a favor and stay here, it’ll be nothing short of magic!

This spot was amazing—just about an hour from the quieter side of Sequoia, which made it a perfect base for exploring without the crowds. Xavier was super friendly and welcoming, and camping right next to the river was such a treat. Everything about the stay was wonderful, and I’d definitely recommend it.
There were a few dogs on the property that barked and growled at first, which made my daughter and me a little uneasy. But once we got to know them and gave them some pets, they warmed up to us and it wasn’t an issue.

We loved camping at this beautiful space. You can tell how much love and care is poured into the land and its inhabitants. The animals, plants, river, everything was thriving and exuding love.
We got to enjoy the river and interact with the lovely animals in the area. We used the shower and the bathrooms which are well kept (but dont expect anything fancy!). They also had a kitchen area that we didn't need but we saw multiple people using it throughout our stay. Please be respectful and follow the rules to maintain this land loved and cared for ❤️

This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had camping. It’d been awhile for me/first time camping w my BF, it was pretty hot wknd in Aug so def stay hydrated! But the *gorgeous* communal kitchen, sitting nook, shower, water, toilets, fridge! cell service etc, just made the trip soooo much more lovely lol Xavier was such a gracious wonderful host with such a unique special space in the midst a beautiful serene setting. He’s truly put his heart into that land and shares it openly. Spectacular all around. The river was accessible & shallow enough for taking dips/wading, very user friendly! There was even a full moon and coyotes howling! Truly such a magical restorative experience. We explored the beautiful gardens, and all the native plants & critters, the dogs were great, the chickens and donkeys were so cool. Everyone was so awesome & kind & giving. Our spot was nice and private and right by a river entrance with a tree for shade! It worked out lovely. We’re definitely coming back to check out some of the other camping spots and experience it all over again :)

We enjoyed our stay at this special place and Xavier was a welcoming host, and shared helpful information about visiting Sequoia National Park (the reason for our stay). The river was perfect for cooling off in the hot July temps. Our tent site was fantastic, and we loved sleeping with the sound of the rushing river and the stars overhead.

This land is stunning. I appreciated the people who helped orient us to the space; such kind energy. And I could feel how valued this land is by all who were there while we were. I am looking forward to returning, hopefully for a longer stay in order to be with the river for longer.

I am very grateful for Xico and Mehmet’s hospitality. I felt like I was welcomed upon immediately arriving. The familiarity in our cultures as Chicanos really made my friend and I feel safe, and the land was beautifully taken care of by them and also Julio and Luna. We spent our night making food for everyone and I felt really connected to the space. The river was gorgeous and the land, and what Xico and Mehmet have to offer were healing, and came from their hearts. I will be coming back for longer. Thank you ❤️

First time camping in years and it was a breeze! My site was in walking distance to the car and felt remote, sitting along the river. The communal areas are gorgeous and well maintained. It felt more like a sanctuary than a campsite. It was the perfect reset.

The hosts are really kind and the land is so peaceful and beautiful. A lovely outdoor kitchen equipped with fridge, stove, and potable water. So many features and plants inviting you to slow down and enjoy the space. We loved the river so much. Thank you Memet and Xico!
Bring plenty of water and electrolytes in the summer. Temperatures are intense!

From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. Xavier met us and was thorough with his directions. He even made suggestions on where to charge our EV and about seeing the Trail of 100 Giants instead of being bombarded by tourists in the Sequoias.
Mehmet is also another caretaker. He was an amazing host, showing my family the best place to stargaze, as my daughter loves space and was excited to see stars and the milky way. He is also so very passionate about nature and is a fountain of information.
The animals were a delight and made fast friends with my daughter. She had never been so close to chickens or donkeys. She also feared dogs but had no fear as these amazing dogs loved her instantly.
We didn't want to leave, but unfortunately had to return to our boring lives. We will definitely be going back! Thank you again Xavier, Mehmet, Gio, and Christian (I hope I spelled that right)!

The host was so kind and just such a giving person, and land was so peaceful and rejuvenating. I stayed her because I was working close by and I had to work long hours, I was pretty much wiped out by the time I got back, but ending my day at a place that was so peaceful was so nice. I would stay here many times and would definitely recommend it to other campers!

The campground was so beautiful, and the hosts made us feel very welcomed. Was lovely to have the river sounds and views so near to the campsite, and the outdoor kitchen was stellar.. Thank you for a lovely stay :) would love to revisit.

Xio land was lovely,clean and full of character.
He showed us around with a tour and was always around if we needed help.
We felt welcomed .
Hot showers. Running water and river access.
Great kitchen with everything you need and lighting! . If we are in the area will definitely be staying there again.

The site we camped was spectacular! Right along the rushing Tule River, sleep was lulled by Nature’s white noise. The land was very quiet, clean, and extremely well maintained. You could feel the love the residents have for this land. I highly recommend camping here if you are looking to explore the Many parks of southern CA.

Just not for us! The hosts are very sweet and there are lots of amenities that would work for others. However, we were camping with a rooftop tent and there were limited options, we were parked by a gate with cars streaming by. Not the escape we hoped for. We'd shared our set up with the host at the time we booked too. Them, unfortunately there was no one to help us when we arrived. We did communicate timing over the app and were given instructions, but it wasn't remotely clear at all where to set up and we sat around waiting for nearly two hours. We wouldn't have cared so much, but we got in at on the earlier side to avoid setting up in the blazing heat. So it was a frustrating start. The dogs barked all night which was not part of the peaceful stargazing we hoped for. The highlight was walk to the river, it was a magical spot and the best part of our trip. We appreciated the hospitality and the experience.

I stayed for a couple of nights over Memorial Day weekend. The campsites next to the river have beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the Tule River and are adjacent to a garden featuring many blooming desert plants. Xico is a welcoming and gracious host who went out of his way to find and guide me to the campground late in the evening after I (an east coast native) got lost in the Springville area. Highly recommend this campground!

We loved how the site was secluded and the river was so close. Nice setup for kitchen and lounging. Xavier was very responsive and showed all he had to offer there. Wished we could have stayed longer.
