Discover our charming RV camping spot nestled in sunny San Diego. Our spot features a large 180' x 60' private, fully fenced lot with partial hookups and abundant outdoor space. Located in the picturesque Bonita neighborhood, we're just a short 15-minute drive from downtown and only 20 minutes away from the pristine beaches in the north and south. Additionally, we're conveniently situated just 15 minutes from the Mexico border crossing. Bonita is a delightful neighborhood with a nostalgic country feel, offering a plethora of activities right within the community. From golfing and horseback riding to scenic trails and charming eateries, there's something for everyone to enjoy. You can also explore the local library and even visit a museum during your stay. It's important to note that San Diego has strict RV parking regulations, including a ban on overnight parking on city streets. Given the high demand, RV campsites and lodges tend to book up quickly. If you're planning to visit San Diego with your RV, be sure to secure a suitable parking spot in advance. While our spot is not intended as a destination in itself, it provides a cozy retreat for your RV while you explore the vibrant city of San Diego. Our amenities include a private, landscaped yard with trees, 110V 15A electrical and water connections, outdoor furniture with a table, umbrella, and seating, as well as night lighting for added ambiance. For those looking for extra convenience, we offer optional outdoor packages for an additional fee. These include a 26' Minnie Winnie RV that sleeps up to 8 people, a Surfing Package with 2-4 surfboards and 2-4 body boards as needed, and a Bicycle Package with 2-4 bikes available upon request. Typically local RV Resorts and State Parks fill are booked months in advance. Our site is conveniently close to all the fun San Diego has to offer. The site is just 15 minutes from downtown San Diego and local beaches and 10 minutes from the Tijuana border. • Privacy: Our guest enjoy a fully fenced 1/8 of acre site. We only accept 1 guest booking at time. This lot is big enough to fit two RVs and vehicles too. • Lush Vegetation: Surrounded by beautiful trees, the site offers a tire swing for added fun and a bush fort for children to explore. • Utilities: A 15 AMP electrical connection and a hose spigot for water access are provided at no additional charge. • Amenities: Enjoy a picnic table with an umbrella for shade and comfortable seating. • Terrain: The lot has a very gentle slope, almost undetectable, and can be easily adjusted with 1" leveling blocks. Depending on the season, the ground may have grass or dried grass, with solid, compacted clay soil that does not require gravel. Note: For dog owners, please be aware that there are foxtails on the property. If your pet has long hair, these foxtails could become tangled in their fur. We are actively working on a solution to remove them. In the meantime, we recommend that you avoid letting your long-haired pet roll around in areas where foxtails may be present. Good place with one exception

Private Camping Site in San Diego!

This place was about 20min southeast of San Diego. The backyard was down a private road and felt private. Our issue with the site was there were a lot of foxtails and we had our two dogs with us. They got foxtails in their fur and those ended up in our camper van - grrr. But the host seems like a good guy and wants to improve his Hip Camp - it’s a fairly new place to stay. Hopefully, he’ll address this issue and then we would stay there again. If you don’t have your dog with you, go ahead and book a stay here.

Private Camping Site in San Diego!

I loved the privacy and location of this Hipcamp. 15 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from Coronado. Five minutes from a Planet Fitness in National City. Nice quiet neighborhood. The host was very accommodating and informative about the area.
