Welcome to Olive Rock Ranch! Our unique property is nestled on 19.35 acres in Aguanga. This hilltop location has endless views of Dameron Valley and the Palomar Mountains. Come sit and relax on your patio overlooking the stars and sunsets.  Our property features an olive grove farm with plenty of hiking trails. You can explore nature at its best with our natural habitat full of quails, white tail rabbits, and natural vegetation. We love animals as well and have horses, ducks, and chickens roaming onsite. We have many nearby points of interest including the Palomar Mountains where you can get outside to take a hike or explore. We are driving distance from Julian, CA where you can check out their famous pies! We are also close to Borrego Trails where you can run and recreate and we’re only 2 miles from Emerald Creek Winery where you can kick back afterwards. Lastly, we are only 18 miles from downtown Temecula and all food and activities they have to offer. Even though we are near to activities you can find great things to do on our property as well. You can explore our 20 acres and hike through the olive groves all afternoon. You can also feed the chickens, ducks, and horses or head out the gate where you can find miles of dirt roads to roam. You can expect some natural noises during your stay. At a distance sometimes you’ll hear coyotes, owls, and the wake-up call from the rooster. Occasionally you will hear a donkey call in the distance. Your hosts live on site and usually plan to meet and greet as needed. Once you are settled you will have plenty of privacy, but we are on-site in our private home and could be reached if needed! This listing is for our spectacular yurt tent set and an RV site called the stables up on 20 acres in a secure and safe olive grove with plenty of privacy. You can expect spectacular views of the valley below, the Palomar mountains and relaxing sunsets under a beautiful blanket of stars. Our main house is about 600 feet from the site, but you will enjoy your own outside shower, compost restroom, picnic table, propane BBQ, large cooler, and fire pit! The tent accommodates up to 4 people and an additional person could bring their tent and set up on the site as well. Amenities listed below: -Private fire pit -Private picnic table -Potable water via spigot -Propane BBQ -Washing sink -Large cooler -Private composting toilet with sink -Good cell service and reception to most cell carriers no Wi-Fi -Pets allowed -Trash bins available Additional details to note  Quiet hours being at 10pm, please be mindful after this time. Check in is after 11am and check out is before 10:00AM. Early and late check in or check out are possible but please speak with us ahead of time.

      Positives: great view and very quiet. Was great to have a full sized bbq, shower, outdoor furniture and shaded area that had spray mist connected. Negatives: - the hosts did not respond to our attempts to contact them. -In the listing photos it had a sofa and other furnishings. We booked for 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens. We were expecting the sofa and had to go out and buy sleeping gear so we had somewhere for the teens to sleep! If there was only supposed to be one bed, the listing needed to say that sleeping gear was needed to accommodate the extra 2 guests.

      Point View at Olive Rock Ranch
      Our stay at Olive Rock Ranch was truly unforgettable. The view from the site was absolutely stunning and gave us exactly the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. Even the journey to get there felt like an adventure — we were genuinely moved by the experience. The privacy was perfect, and the breathtaking scenery and star-filled sky felt like they were ours alone. Eliseo was thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly kind — we’re truly grateful. We would absolutely love to come back and will definitely be recommending it to our friends. My husband, our dog, and I all hope to return to Olive Rock Ranch someday.

      Eli was such a great host! He would extend the extra mile to make sure his guests are comfortable. If you love the outdoors, stargazing by the fire pit and just taking in nature, definitely check this property out.

      Great location with awesome views! The family loved spending time wandering around the massive property. Location was close to many hiking trails and an hour drive from Julian, CA. Host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

      Our stay at Point View at Olive Rock Ranch was absolutely amazing! The site is beautiful, peaceful, and tucked away in nature — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The tent was super cool and really well set up. It had a comfy bed with very clean sheets, which made it feel extra cozy after a day of exploring. Having a shower and toilet was such a nice touch, and the grill and cooking supplies made it easy to whip up meals while enjoying the outdoors. The views were stunning — especially at sunrise and sunset — and the quiet atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about making your stay great. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful setting!

      We had such a peaceful Thanksgiving camping trip at Olive Rock Ranch. Eliseo was a wonderful host - he welcomed us to the property after graciously hunting down extra propane for us on the holiday so we could cook to our heart’s desire and relax with the fire on the propane pit. The property is so well cared for and has the most beautiful views. Watching the sun rise and set each day was such a treat - I recommend having your morning coffee on the swing while you watch the sun come over the mountain! Beyond the overall property being cared for, the site was immaculate. It was the cleanest camping experience we’ve ever had! The tent/yurt was spotless and you could smell the bedding and extra blankets had all been freshly washed. Bed was super comfy and we were nice and cozy, especially with the propane heater Eliseo left for us. The propane grill, sink, dishes, etc were all clean and stocked. And we loved the location - we took a half day trip to Julian for some cider and pie and made it back in time to watch the sunset. If you’re considering booking, do it! It’s the perfect place to calm your mind while having some comforts of home and access to destination spots. It was great for our family of 5 (with 2 kids and a dog!). Bonus: One of our sons is autistic and between the pavers making him a “bumpy road” to drive his Hot Wheels on, the hammock to lie in, the swing to swing on, and the animals, he was thrilled - so sensory friendly without even intending to be.

      My kids and I loved staying here. Great place to enjoy some camping without having to bring a tent. The propane grill and fire pit are awesome. Eliseo was great! He even showed us around his property on his atv! He even provided us a propane heater when we mentioned it was a bit cold in the yurt.

      We loved our stay! Everything we needed at the site for cooking. BYO food/water/ice/etc. The views were incredible, and it was so quiet at night. The bed was comfy, bathroom and shower clean. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a quiet desert getaway! Eliseo & Aracely were quick to respond and very kind! The Olive Ranch was so cool to explore and our pup loved the adventure! Would love to stay again, especially when the day temperatures are a bit milder.

      This campsite is incredible! It has epic sunrises & sunsets, amazing views, tons of space for you and your pets, lots of privacy from your hosts and surrounding neighbors, and a private-enough campsite free from other campers. The hosts house does look over the campsite, but we almost never saw the hosts. The propane bbq and propane bonfire are easy to use and make your evenings that much more enjoyable. The shower and compost toilet are great amenities without any drawbacks. The bed was very comfortable and the inside of the yurt was comfy, but does get very very warm (90+) in the area. If you can catch a breeze, get in the shade, turn on the misters, and have a cold beverage, you will be comfortable. We drove to hikes & towns nearby most days during the hottest times of the day and had the best time. The best part is that my dog has never been happier chasing lizards and getting zoomies in the canyon. And finally, we saw some amazing wildlife including vultures, bats, quails, praying mantis, stickbugs, hummingbirds, rabbits, and a lot more.

      Beautiful views and an amazing host

      We had such an amazing stay during our trip to this spot. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfy and relaxing- covered outdoor picnic tables with a mist system to keep you cool during the hot day, a sit down spot by the fire to enjoy stargazing at night, a swing to sit and soak in the sunrise view, spot for a sunset view, relaxing hammock to just look at the mountains, Outdoor spot for cooking is well equipped with utensils, storage bowls and sink. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on as well.During our trip, Eliseo was so helpful and made sure we had everything that we would have needed. We got to chat with him and share a few stories and connect which was so refreshing. Shoutout to Eliseo for being so welcoming. We walked through the olive farm, fed the animals in the morning- they were excited to see us everyday. We had such a remarkable and relaxing stay. I was missing this place for 2 days after we returned back :D. Nearby town-Temecula has really nice spots for brunch and drinks. We would def recommend this stay.

      Point View at Olive Rock Ranch
      Eli was an amazing host. I was initially going to be alone for the trip and he offered help with anything I needed. He approached with the utmost respect always and came with kindness. When my boyfriend was able to join Eli introduced himself and also told him of things to do around the property. It was very kind. The coyotes in the valley howl at night and the roosters respond and talk to each other from the surrounding properties so it can be a little noisy at night but I did not mind. The beautiful views, the calmness and even in the hot hours of the day the constant breeze was luxurious and relaxing. The bottom portion of the tent has the ability to unzip and netting keeps the bugs out and the breeze moving. We really enjoyed our time.

      Point View at Olive Rock Ranch
      Olive Rock Ranch is an amazing glamping spot and we had a wonderful time. It was nice to have a sink, composting toilet, BBQ and trash bins available so that we didn't have to worry about bringing those. The views were beautiful and we woke up with clouds all around us which felt surreal. The spot is quiet and we didn't hear much while sleeping. A little bit of dogs barking and roosters crowing but it wasn't bad and we got good sleep. Will definitely come back.

      My family enjoyed our time here. The views were amazing and the locality gave you the ability to rough it, but also enjoy nearby fun. We were able to visit Julian, enjoy pie and bring some back due to how close it is. There were some challenges that made the stay more interesting than we were expecting. Some of the amenities were either not present, needed attention, or replacement. Including the grill, the lights, and toilet paper in the restroom. If your kid or dog is skittish, I would be mindful of the location due to a friendly dog that roams the property, but made multiple trips to our location to "mark" territory if you know what I mean. The hosts were good about resolving some critical issues, but by the end, I feel that we both felt we had needed to reach out more than we liked. I actually have never had to contact a host more than 1-2 and it's been usually to add optional offerings. All in all, I had a great time. Using the shower and having some amazing gusts of wind blow through was my favorite. It was something I enjoyed. All the pictures I shared online were met with Hey Where is that? Although I wouldn't consider it clamping, I would recommend staying here.

      No fuss glamping with dogs!

      This place was breathtaking! I would love to visit here again. It's dog friendly and absolutely beautiful sunsets. The owners are very helpful and are just a text away. As 2 women camping alone we felt at ease, comfortable amd safe the whole time. I'm definitely going to recommend this place to others. It's about a 45 minute drive from julian but the route is very smooth and scenic. Always something to look at. Definitely left feeling centered and rested.

      Although the dogs are very friendly they bark all night long at the Coyotes which isn’t great for a restful nights sleep in the camp. Everything else was great and the views and the location is perfect

      Well equipped glamp site in a cool setting! Lots of cooking supplies. Hosts were quick to respond and brought an extra propane tank for the fire pit immediately. Nice property to explore with the Olive groves, some farm animals, and granite rocks. There are coyotes that roam around at night, but the tent is nice and safe. Would come back for a weekend getaway.

      OMG we will totally be coming back here. This was a fabulous retreat for a long weekend. The space is private enough and I feel like if I was with my girl-friends I would be safe enough. There are lots of trails and we wandered through the olive groves too! Eliseo and Aracely were so kind with my 7 year old and let her feed the goats and even go into the space to pet them. I was so excited there was a 3 week baby that they let me hold! The amenities were great! Running water, CLEAN composting toilet, clean and cozy tent and picnic area. I wish we could have had a wood burning campfire but that’s no fault of the hosts. 10/10 would recommend!

      This spot was perfect for my New Year’s adventure. I like to catch the first sunrise of every new year and try to find cool new spots to watch. This property did not disappoint! The campsite is up on a ridge and I had a perfect view of the sunrise and also the sunset the night before. My first night was pretty clear so I also got to do some star gazing. Eliseo and Aracely were perfect hosts. The site was easy to find with signs well marked and my Honda made it up the dirt roads with no problems, in part thanks to the dry weather. Their camp is very homey and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The weather was windy and cold, but with the right clothes, enough blankets and their fire pit I was quite cozy. The tent was spacious and the bed was really comfy. Thanks for the memories Eliseo and Aracely!

      Wonderful Little Glamping Spot
      Point View at Olive Rock Ranch
      I loved this campsite! The area felt private and the sleeping area was clean and comfortable. They even had utensils and dishware, along with a grill and small propane fire pit to use. The campsite can be a bit hard to find in the dark, but once you drive up to it once you’ll be able to find it again easily. Great place!

      We couldn’t have found a better spot to share with better hosts! Aracely and Eliseo are wonderful humans that created a beautiful space for others to enjoy. From the moment we arrived we felt at home! Eliseo met us at the entrance of their ranch and guided us to our weekend home. We stopped along the way to learn about their barn and were invited to visit at any point. The campsite is located at the top of hill and overlooks a beautiful canyon and has some of the best sunsets. The yurts decor is homey and sweet. We ended our very special time at the residence’s grill that happened to be open for brunch at 10am. The absolute best authentic Mexican food! We look forward to our return!
