Although our stay was short it was definitely a very sweet experience. The reading nook bed was a little hard so bringing a yoga mat or camping pad might be a more comfortable sleep but it was big enough for my husband and I and our 1 year old to sleep in. The farm itself is beautiful and you will be greeted by some cute dogs in the morning which is a plus for me. It is located around some great apple orchards with lots of activities for the kid so that was also a plus.

My son and I had been looking for something last minute and came across Brendas incredible little wagon stay! I didn’t know exactly what to expect, since I’ve never stayed at a place like this. It FAR EXCEEDED my expectations in every possible way!
The farm accommodates anyone with a family looking for a cozy outdoor stay, a quiet couple or small group of friends! There’s a huge playground, a little mini golf, multiple fire pits, Corgis, Alpacas, Goats and so much more! Brenda was incredibly welcoming, kind, and you can tell cares very passionately about her space and creating a cozy environment!
We will definitely be back! Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

We have had a couple wonderful visits to Oak Hollow Farm. Brenda is a sweet attentive host. The land is beautiful & has lots of animals that are sweet and friendly. They also have a little tree house and play area our kids loved. The wagon was really cute & cozy. Only advice is bring your bug spray if you're going in the warm months.

My friend and I stayed here one night and wish we could have stayed longer - we needed a place to spend the night before an early hike the next morning.
The location is easy to find by plugging into GPS and Brenda gives you a gate code to plug in. Once we went through the gate we were already giddy seeing the horses, sheep, and alpacas/llamas. We parked at a barn and then had five little dogs come running out to greet us (best welcome party ever??).
Brenda was lovely, she showed us around the adorable gypsy wagon and around the property, showing us her garden with various herbs and produce ("help yourself!"), introducing us to all the animals (that you can feed and pet). She'll tell you to "make yourselves at home" and after walking around the area and taking it all in, it's easy to feel like you've escaped into some sort of enchanted getaway.
The gypsy wagon is really a cute place to sleep and my friend and I slept comfortably in the bed. It got a little chilly at night but we appreciated the extra blanket provided and there's also a small electric heater. There's a port a potty for a bathroom and a small sink area. The fire pit right across the wagon was perfect for hanging out and s'mores. Shout out to Moises (I think that was his name?, who lives on site and helps with the animals) for helping us get a fire started after we failed to do so. If you bring kids, there's a cute playground area and little putting green. There's a variety of benches and seating areas.
We would absolutely stay again; this was a very unique place to stay for many different reasons and would highly recommend to others!
Tip: bring bug spray and consider bringing coils or something to help with mosquitoes, they were out in large amounts at dusk!!
Additional tip: visit snow-line orchard down the road for some DELICIOUS apple cider donuts :)

Oak Hollow Farm Reading Wagon
This place is amazing! We all had so much fun, and my kids loved helping Brenda out with chores around the farm. The cottage we stayed in was adorable. We stayed for two nights and didn’t leave the site (aside from a quick trip for some extra groceries), but there is a ton of stuff to do in the area as well. We will definitely be coming back.

This was the perfect COVID-cation for our family of 3. Our 3-yr-old said it was like "heaven" and cried when we had to leave. He got to feed the animals, run around with corgis, play in a tree house, use the swing set, play some mini-golf, and have a campfire.
We arrived Friday evening, spent Saturday afternoon visiting nearby orchards and trails and then departed Sunday morning--it was glorious!

My wife Brie and I were fortunate to spend our wedding anniversary at this magical place Brenda calls home. Exquisite is an understatement when describing our experience. Brenda and her groundskeepers Moises and Sergio were so hospitable and really bent over backwards to ensure that we were comfortable and getting the most out of our experience. We loved the freedom we had to roam the grounds and interact with the animals, of which there are around FIFTY! Some of our favorites include Jenny the Jack Russell, Shorty the corgi, Lamby the- well, lamb, Mama Ewe and her twin black lambs, Buddy the donkey, and Charlie the horse.
The energy of oneness contained within these grounds is indescribable. We pitched our tent near the little creek that runs through her property, and I particularly enjoyed the put-put greens, while my wife got a kick out of the curly slide. A picnic table, fire ring, cooking grate, skewers, a dish basin, a hose, and a porta potty were all provided. We also purchased the wood bundle and were given an ample wheelbarrow-full that lasted us all weekend, and whenever we wanted to feed the animals we were given a bucket of treats to walk around with freely. Normally while on vacation we bookmark a bunch of hikes in the area and spend a good amount of time exploring. While at Oak Hollow, the peace we felt was so strong that we never ended up leaving until we absolutely had to.
I cannot emphasize enough how special Brenda made our time with her. My wife brought her wedding dress to have a photo shoot with the animals, and Brenda brought the horses out to the pasture and helped us to capture the magic. It is our dream to one day have a farm sanctuary of our own. This visit definitely helped us understand how to make that happen, and we can't wait to come back to learn more and exist within this special energy.

It was amazing time staying at this paradise. Everything was very thoughtfully developed and maintained. Wagon was very cozy. All animals were friendly and so fun. Brenda is a wonderful host and kept checking on us if we needed anything. We would definitely go back

We had such a great stay. Moises was extremely helpful and friendly, the wagon itself is so adorable and cozy. Brenda is such an amazing host, and all of the animals are so sweet. We enjoyed a night by the fire under the stars it’s such a nice relaxing getaway from the city.

Mesa Goathill Go-Getters, 4-H, wanted to pick apples this fall as an outdoor activity. What better place than Oak Hollow Farm?
Eleven families camped, watched movies, roasted Hot Dogs, herded sheep, walked llamas, made S'Mores, played with kittens, fed horses, donkeys', and picked apples, all under the guiding plan of Farmer Brenda on her Private Farm. This was our first time booking through Hip Camp and we could not have dreamed of a better stay than at the Gypsy Wagon at the Oak Hollow Farm and Sanctuary. All the details from the minute you entered the private gate, to the wagon, playground, barns, and garden, nothing was spared in detail and thought. We were welcomed by Brenda and her wonderful dogs. She toured the property with us and introduced us to all the animals and let my daughter feed them. The llamas were truly spectacular with all the other loving animals there. This sanctuary is perfect location to town (in case you need supplies) or to Oak Glen for apple picking and even a delicious steak house around the corner. Such an easy escape from LA into this beautiful bliss.
We must recommend the llama hike. It was quite possibly one of the coolest things we have ever done in our lives! We will still talk about it to this day! We did the sunset hike and each of us got our own llama to hike with. We walked to this secluded table where Brenda had a delicious home made picnic for us from apples from her orchard to cheeses, crackers and sweet tea. I cannot tell you what a magical and unforgettable evening it was. And Brenda was kind enough to take pictures and videos and get them to me that night so I can truly enjoy the moment of the outdoors and this majestic animals.
I have already recommended this place to friends and family. If there were more than 5 stars, I would rate it accordingly. Brenda could not have been more welcoming and thoughtful in every little detail to make our stay truly one we will never forget.

Omgosh!! Such a fantastically unique, hidden gem! Brenda is beyond hospitable and lovely.
The space is welcoming and magical. My 10 year old daughter and I just loved every sweet creature. The dogs and cats are so sweet. All of the barnyard animals are awesome!!

We had such an amazing time. The kids loved camping and staying on a farm with all the animals. Hiking with the llamas was an experience that will not be soon forgotten. Brenda made us feel at home and we wish we could of stayed longer. We will definitely come back and invite more friends.

If you’re thinking about staying here, I recommend it 1,000%. I could almost feel the stress and worry leave my body as soon as I stepped out of the car and was greeted by the adorable pack of dogs that roam the property. It was one of the most amazing places my boyfriend and I have ever stayed. The gypsy wagon was straight out of a fairy tail, surrounded with gorgeous landscaping and fountains. Brenda ,the host, was no less than WONDERFUL. Extremely accommodating and friendly. We slept soundly and comfortably in the wagon, and loved that we always seemed to have some type of critter following us around as we explored the farm. We also opted for the Llama hike, BEST decision ever. The llamas, just like every other animal on the farm, were complete sweethearts and the trail was beautiful. We can’t wait to be back!!!

What a truly magical and incredible place. The grounds are beautiful and the animals are all so loving and friendly. Brenda is absolutely amazing. She is so smart, kind, knowledgable and an amazing hostess - she made us feel right at home on her property. We did the Llama hike and it was absolutely beautiful(and a nice workout). I will definitely be coming back - the photos do not do this place justice, even more incredible in person.

This was probably, without a doubt, one of the most amazing places we have visited. The location is perfection. The property itself is completely enclosed and it makes for an extremely safe and quiet location. It is about a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, and another 5 minutes to be in a "town" roughly. If you head in the opposite direction there is an old eccentric apple farm that has an amazing restaurant, thrifting, and food (mostly apple themed of course). The wagon itself was small and perfect. My boyfriend and I slept together on the bed no problem and we are both really tall lol. Everything is sooo well maintained its insane! We were both completely in awe on how such a massive property is so clean. I woke up one morning to use the restroom and watched as 6 little kittens popped up from underneath the deck. IN LOVE. The animals are all so sweet and there are so many of them! Definitely the highlight. We have decided to try and come back here once every two months that how much we loved it. Some advice: 1. For sure pay the extra for the fire wood, it's worth cooking some food over an open fire 2. Meet your neighbors! We didn't catch his name but the gentleman living next to us (the caretaker) was so sweet and offered us some of his food he was BBQing as well and it was sooo good haha! 3. Pack Off! or some other kind of bug spray. We were dumb and forgot about it! 4. It may seem like there aren't enough sheets or blankets but that little heater/fireplace warms up the wagon soooo well, you honestly don't even need the sheets!

I highly recommend Oak Hollow Farm and Sanctuary. Brenda is a warm and thoughtful host and the property is picturesque. The gypsy wagon is something out of a fairytale, comfortable and quaint surrounded by flowers and herbs. The animals here are wonderfully cared for and loved living in an ideal setting. My husband and I enjoyed feeding the animals, collecting fresh eggs, berries and herbs while our beautiful host shared information about the area and vegetation. The town is charming and memorable. We look forward to visiting again in the fall.

What a great find! The gypsy wagon and farm animals are charming. The grounds are the perfect blend of well-kept and rustic. You are free to roam around the property and interact with llamas, alpaca, donkeys, goats, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and a pot belly pig. Would be a great spot for a family reunion camp out, and even has a tree house with two cots where you can sleep. The host Brenda is friendly and helpful. Hope to return in the future.

I loved it so much, I’ll be back soon! The host is absolutely the sweetest, the dogs and cats are adorable and welcome you first thing in the morning and come say good night before bed. The gypsy wagon was clean, cozy, warm and the outside sitting area is lovely. The whole property is full of gorgeous flora and fauna, and the host is really helpful and welcoming. We also purchased the picnic hike with llamas (who are entertaining and sweet!) and it was so fun for my daughter and I and the scenery on the hike is beautiful. We can’t wait to go back:) really was so lovely.

What a dream, this farm is so gorgeous! Extremely easy to find, we were greeted by the adorable pack of dogs and owner, Brenda. She toured us and our 8 year-old all the around letting her feed the animals, pet them and experience all that Oak Hallow has to offer. We were then shown to the wagon, nestled inside of what I can only explain as a secret garden! Typically this is a 2-person location stay, however, Brenda was kind enough to let all 3 of us stay. Little one LOVED and fit perfectly in the nook under the main bed inside. There is a fantastic fire pit area with chairs.
We decided to eat off-site. Highly recommend the local eatery in town called "Jake's," really great Italian food and burgers. We returned to the camp and had a fire with smores. As it is coyote and bear country, lock all food in your car.
The next morning we woke up to corgi's Winston and Oliver at our door. Pretty much best way to wake up! We hang out around camp, celebrating the little one's birthday with cake for breakfast. Then we started our journey of hiking with the llamas, an added cost experience. You will help Brenda harness the llama family. They are sooooo great! Blue, Panda, Honey, Blanca and Valentino. The hike is roughly 3 hours. We went out on a very hot day and there is no shade on the trail. Brenda saved us with the sunscreen we forgot. The trail is gorgeous, open land and green right now. The llamas will make you laugh the whole way with their corky ways! We had a nice snack stop mid-way where Brenda provide snacks, juice and cupcakes for the birthday girl. Brenda is also really good at capturing the experience with photograph she sends to you after the hike.
I would 10/10 recommend this farm and experience. So many great memories made! THANK YOU BRENDA!

Magical ! Enchanted with the Gypsy Wagon and wonderful property ! The Animal’s are many different kinds , each with their own areas , so every corner turned had new and exciting friends to meet !
The creek running thru, big lawns for ball playing,giant treehouse, dogs and cats available for playtime this place is great for kids.
The adults loved it. Very Relaxed Environment.

She was very friendly and welcoming to her little farm and couldn’t wait to take us to show her lovely animal’s ! So many kinds !
Very knowledgeable about the specific breeds ,types and gave us very good information while showing obvious love for her collection.
Freshly laid eggs from her chickens were especially nice!

My stay at Oak Hollow Farm Gypsy Wagon was great!
My boyfriend and I got there around 2:15 pm and Brenda came out to greet us. As soon as you start going up the driveway you begin to see the huge llamas staring at you to the right. On the left hand side you will see horses. Drive up a bit more and you will see a barn on the left hand side. They have more llamas and alpacas there. They also have a small pony and small donkey. Brenda allowed us to feed them pellet food. You will also see peacocks roaming around (we saw around 3). Right across from the barn is the gypsy wagon we were staying at. There is a portable toilet right next to the wagon. You will have a neighbor (Moi) who stays next door in an RV. He helped us get a fire started in the evening and was a very cool guy. My boyfriend and I had a good time hanging out with him while he got the fire going. It is also nice because you are close to many other places where you can eat if you don't feel like making food on the grill outside. We went to the Oak Glen Saloon and had some steak and wine. Later on when Brenda got home, she let the dogs out. We hung around with about five dogs and one cat (Pumpkin which is very sweet). The animals were truly the highlight. Everything here is honestly just so beautiful! There are blankets, pillows, and a heater in the wagon because it did get chilly at night. Leave all food in your car because they do have frequent bear visits. I will be returning here in the fall! Thank you Brenda for your hospitality.

Staying in the gypsy wagon was a delight. It was cozy and completely adorable. A special bonus was meeting all the farm animals and an evening around the campfire. We would love to visit again sometime.

The wagon is small, cozy and functional. Brenda is a considerate host, making sure I felt safe and warm. There are so many animals (dogs, cats, horses, llamas, alpacas, goats, peacocks, chickens!) to ineract with. Animal lovers will be content here.

Oak Hollow Farm
Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more! We have two boys (ages 3 and 5) and our Brenda was just as amazing with them as she was with us. She's extremely welcoming and she smears made us feel completely at home. We had so much fun hiking the llamas, feeding the animals, hanging out with her friendly and fun dogs, and visiting her kitttns many times throughout the day! :) The treehouse was awesome and there was an enormous amounts of shade everywhere throughout the propert. There are peacocks and ducks roaming around and so much fun stuff to see and do. At the same time, the little oasis area of our camp made it easy to take a break and relax, and then go get our animal fill in anytime we wanted. Brenda also offered to take photos for us several times throughout our hike which was amazing. I'm always behind the camera! We don't have many pics of all 4 of this so I really appreciated that. All in all we loved it. It's better than the pics! And the pics on hipcamp are amazing. We are definitely coming back very soon..

Oak Hollow Farm
This site was an amazing experience for our whole family and our friends. We brought our kids, who loved playing in the treehouse and swings, and were amazed by all the animals available to them. It was a menagerie of exotic animals and some farm animals. Even the adults were happy to interact with these adorable animals! The dogs were an extra treat for my son who absolutely adores dogs. We left and he was asking for more pets to keep for himself. Brenda does an amazing job of keeping the property beautiful and pristine. She was very gracious to offer firewood, let the kids feed the animals, and even an adorable camp sink I loved using to wash our dishes. I truly appreciated Brenda’s attention to detail, and when we wanted to go trekking with Llamas... she made it happen even though the hiking trail gates were closed off. She was a wonderful host. There is not one thing we would have changed, and we look forward to booking again in the near future!
