I stayed one night in the birdhouse. I arrived at night and instructions for parking and illuminated pathway to the birds nest were straight forward and easy to follow. The views of the pasture in the morning (and at night) were gorgeous. It feels very private on the edge of the property. Will definitely visit again if I am in the area. Highly recommended.

The birdhouse was so cute and cozy! It warmed up fast with the cute electric heater too. Loved the view from the big windows and deck. All around 10/10!

This place was great. It was easy to walk to from the car but still felt private with a nice view.
It was absolutely pouring that night so walking to the composting toilet was unpleasant but it would have been no problem if it was not raining.
Inside was warm and comfy.

The Birdhouse was cozy, quaint, and private with a spectacular view. It provided me the perfect home base to chill, work, and access the area's many jewels.

We had so much fun at the birdhouse! We wanted a last-minute trip and niko was totally accomodating. The cabin itself is thoughtfully arranged and very cute, stars are very visible through the big window at night. Lots to love about the birdhouse and would stay again.

We had a wonderful and cozy time at the birdhouse. We loved the amazing view and it was clean and had some modern conveniences like power and phone charging jacks. The animals were adorable and Niko was a friendly and responsive host. The spot had a good heater and was very warm. I woke up early and enjoyed the view of the sunrise from the hammock. Would definitely recommend!

I truly enjoyed my all too brief stay up in the super charming Bird House. Couldn't help but feel the sweet vibe of just being there taking in the incredibly expansive views across the beautiful Laguna area. Thanks VERY much for the awesome experience!!

We loved the Birdhouse! The treehouse structure is delightful, with large windows and full of other small touches that amplify the feeling of being in nature. We loved watching turkeys crossing the fields in late afternoon and waking up to small songbirds in the branches of the tree surrounding us. The farm’s two alpacas and small herd of sheep were, of course, adorable. The instructions given for accessing the unit were detailed; we had no issues finding the place. The bed was so comfortable that we accidentally fell back asleep after our alarm! All in all, a cute little place for a quick trip out of town that’s been fun to talk about with our family and friends.

Amazing spot. It's a treehouse, yo. My wife said that "thoughtful" was the main word that came to mind. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. Very thankful.

The host Niko seemed a nice person, however the place left a bitter feeling. Of all things, when I walked in the bed wasn't made and there was so much dust inside the tree house

The Birdhouse
Just lovely! Very comfortable bed. I didn’t realize had electricity till we got there which was a plus. My 9 year old loved feeding the alpacas and sheep. Would definitely recommend.

Very cute and small get-away, a la glamping style. Had lights and electricity. Beautiful views and very quiet. Bed was very comfortable and desk was nice to set stuff on. Small patios on each side of the cabin were really nice. Was a decent walk from the parking area so be mindful of how much you bring, carrying my heavy cooler was a challenge and I wish I'd brought a small wagon. Staircase was too narrow to bring cooler up to the cabin, but it was safe to leave it downstairs outside.

What a wonderful little treehouse! I stayed here for a little weekend bonding with my teen and we both really enjoyed the working farm environment and peacefulness. Our host was onsite and really nice. You have to walk a bit from your car to the spot so he offered us a cart. He also showed us his llamas and sheep and let us pick apples from a little orchard on the property.
The spot is private with narrow winding stairs up to the tree house. It's got two small decks large enough to set up a Coleman although we chose to cook below the treehouse where we could laze in a large hammock that's set up. The electricity is a nice convenience and the natural outhouse is close and didn't smell at all. The bed was really comfy and linens were supplied. There's also a lovely little writing desk, perfect for a writer's retreat. There's also a transparent part of the wall where you can see that it's insulated with llama wool!
The host said they are continuing to add things based on camper feedback. I expect they may put a picnic table there but there wasn't a sitting table or chairs so check to see if you need to bring those. Occidental is very close and you can hear it in the distance but the farm is on a dead-end road so we didn't hear cars which was nice.
Overall, we were really happy with our stay and we think the birdhouse is a special little gem.
