Amazing beautiful spot for camping in Malibu! 15 minutes away from all the main beaches, and high enough to see the ocean and fog below in the mornings. Stars were a welcome delight as well. Some of the furniture could be renewed and was dusty, but overall enjoyed and would come again

This was such a beautiful spot to camp at! It was peaceful and we enjoyed the deck. There was no shade over the deck as pictured and no trees around to provide shade so if you’re going in the summer definitely bring some. Great sunset from this spot! Tons of space if you have a group and great for my dog to roam around.

Such a special spot, and so close to the PCH! We pulled our van right up to the deck for a comfortable stay. The furniture and general maintenance of the area have seen better days, but the couch was all we really needed. Would still very much recommend!

This space was breathtaking and isolated. The perfect getaway. I would say $100 per night might be a little high for what the space provides but it was a wonderful experience nonetheless!

Super cute spot! Great view! The furniture has seen better days but the deck, hammock and chairs are up there and a great place to hang out and watch the sunset. felt nice and private to enjoy the view.

Such a beautiful view in a private camping location. Easy in easy out. Close to all Malibu has to offer. We camped in tents on the property, using the raised deck area and it was perfect. Nature was all around as well, birds everywhere, lizards running, it really was an amazing time. Thank you!

Lots of room to spread out with my truck and the deck to park next to was very nice. Furniture, plants and decor have seen much better days and do not have the vibe the images have. This may not meet expectations if you're going with a crew to glamp it up but for a single dude going up to car-camp, was totally fine and I'll probably stay again when I head to LA again.

Gorgeous view! SO private, which I love ❤️
Encountered a turkey vulture, blue birds, rabbits and our last evening we heard 3 Great Horned Owls 🦉 which was beyond fantastic! Definitely a must place!

This place is pretty unbelievable. We rolled our trailer right up next to the amazing platform deck and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights. It really is breathtaking. It was so relaxing to just chill for a few hours in the hammock and soak it all in. Easy to find, great location just 20 min or so from Malibu beaches, this is a truly special place that feels like it's a million miles from LA.

Great view! It was wonderful to watch the ocean. The site is above the marine layer, so in the morning, we were above an ocean of clouds! We pitched a tent rather than used the Airstream, to test out some new camping equipment. There was a good flat spot for the tent. Deck was comfy for hanging out. Be aware that this site gets a lot of direct sun especially in the afternoon. The canopy over the deck helps, but still very little shade and can get hot. Very quiet at night.

The views are gorgeous and the new deck makes the stay so much more enjoyable and worth the money. The airstream was parked nearby which gave some privacy for bathroom use.

This place was pretty awesome! It was easy to get to, nice deck to hang out on with a hammock and couch, a view of the ocean from a few miles away, hills and quiet neighbors. Once I booked, Lacey sent me a video on how to get to the camping spot which made the directions unambiguous and straighforward. It was perfect. I'd easily come back again for a quick getaway from where I live in NELA.

Lacey's property is a wonderfully level space atop a hill, with a view of the ocean, that we were able to get our 14' trailer to without difficulty. Upon arrival we were greeted by a newly constructed deck with sail shades, benches, and a hammock which really helped to make our visit comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying for a solo camping site in the Santa Monica Mountains.

The space was wonderful! We brought our adventure cat Vlad and we had a great time camping. It’s a windy road up the mountain and is fairly private. It gets cold at night if you’re camping but it’s a pretty nice view.
Be aware that there are no restrooms and prepare accordingly.

We had a lovely time here! Great weather and great views. Secluded enough to feel private, but not too crazy remote. We hiked up to the Backbone trail from the Latigo trailhead which was beautiful and uncrowded! Owners doing a bit of building at the site, but the guys who came in the morning to work on it were super polite and gave us directions to some cool hikes. Lacey was super nice and accommodating as well. Would recommend!

The Mountain Top, Ocean View is beautiful and a completely unique California experience! We had a great stay, camping under the stars and spending the day at the beach. I definitely recommend this site!

One of my very favorite camps to date. The location is amazing! Situated in the Santa Monica Mountains adjacent to Malibu Creek State Park, this campsite has open views of the ocean overlooking Zuma Beach and Point Dume. On a clear sunny day, the view is awesome! To get to the campsite you travel through a windy mountain road to a remote area in the hills. Be prepared to drive a short distance of rugged terrain to go from the main road in to the actual camp site. I had no trouble crawling up the dirt drive in my Jeep Wrangler. The campsite is spacious, flat and private. Plenty of room for tents and gear. It comes complete with a picnic table and solar trail lights that the host provided. This location has a lot to offer. There is coastal beach life down the road below and mountain hiking above. In addition, if you are so inclined, you can go horseback riding with the hosts. It is of course an additional charge, but so well worth it! The horse trail runs through the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains and the ocean views in the background were simply spectacular. The hosts were incredible! They were very patient with our novice knowledge of riding and by the end of the trail, we felt like veteran riders. Be prepared to really unplug, as there is no cell service in the immediate area of the campsite. No problem for us as it meant a much need break from devices and distractions. There’s more that could be said for sure. We love the location, appreciated the host hospitality and we will definitely be back! Put this campsite on your list to visit and you can add to the conversation.

Lacey’s Mountain Top spot is awesome!!! Beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding canyons! The space is clean, super easy to find, and get to! Lacey was very responsive answering any questions before our trip. Tons to do near by, we hit Zuma beach, Topanga canyon and beach, and Pt Dume. There are no restrooms at the camp site so come prepared, but you’re only about 15-20 mins up the road from PCH so it makes it easy to do supply runs or use a public restroom before you get to the site! Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a chill, simple, rustic camp space with gorgeous views all around!

Lacey has a large secluded camping area at the top of her property. The views are great and it was easy to find especially with Lacey's instructional videos. She is very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this Hipcamp to anyone in the Malibu area that's wants a relaxing no frills place to hang out for the night.
