Clair was an amazing host, and the spot was beautiful, I can’t wait to see the place in the summer also! The frost on the ground in the morning was absolutely gorgeous with the mountains in the background! And her horses are absolute sweethearts.

Iron Gate Ranch Platform Campsite
We had an unforgettable stay at Iron Gate Ranch. I will never forget our wild horse encounters and falling asleep to their whinnies at night. The campsite was perfect and the hosts are wonderful. It is an inspiration to see them living their dream. Not only will you have a wonderful stay but you will also feel good about supporting a great cause. The trail ride is a must, their horses are so well behaved and the scenery is endless. Looking forward to our return and to seeing the future success of their new business. Keep fighting the good fight! Your animals are so lucky to have you!

Clair and her family were very welcoming. We enjoyed camping off the grid right by their horses. We did an amazing trail ride and had tons of fun in the lake which is super close. They were nice to lend us a bbq and gave us farm fresh eggs and veggies. The site is very private and beautiful. We will be back to try the glamping. If you have a kid who loves horses this is the place.

Wow! This place really was magical. I spent 6 days solo glamping, and I couldn't have asked for a better week. From Clair's hospitality, the horse ride, to the quietness, and to the animals which felt like every day there was a new one hah! Everything was amazing...I honestly could have stayed longer, I love the silence! If you need that solo time, or a get away from all the madness, invest the time and come here. No words can describe the beauty here. This place is a must!

If you are looking for an epic getaway with the ease of only the burden of bringing food and clothes . . . THIS is your place. The glamping site is more than accommodating. It’s family friendly. The horse riding is incredibly safe and fun. And the hosts; there are not enough words. They are flexible, kind, generous, accommodating, funny as heck and what they are doing for these horses should earn them sainthood. Do you and your family a big favor and book here as soon as you can. You will not regret it.
