Great view; High Noise and Wind

If you don’t mind high winds and high traffic noise all night long, you’ll be ok. Like the listing says it is right up against the highway. The wind on the river didn’t let up until around 0345 and then we could hear the sea lions more clearly. The rooster started in around 0400. I think it is a great spot if you have an RV but tent camping is impossible. There isn’t really a designated tent camping area, so we just set up in the lawn area. The lawn area is surrounded by string lights and two spotlights that stay on all night long.
I would also recommend adult only camping. This place has zero shade and not too much in the way of fun things for the kids to do. We attempted a cast from the shore but (like the gentleman told us) it’s way too full of snags and way too windy to fish.
The guy that lives there is really nice.
If you’re without kids and have an RV this is a good overnight, quick hookup spot.

The host greeted us while we first set up and all the other campers we met were friendly. We liked the soft grass area for tents and the bathrooms were nice. Thanks Julie

The spot is clean and scenic, but the highway noise is substantial, and due to the highway I couldn't walk our dogs much beyond the bounds of the parking lot.

Site 2 -spectacular views
Booked as a last min overnight trip, my boyfriend and I had a great time. Good privacy, great view of the delta, and very nice bathrooms. Hoping to come back with more friends to fish

Site 4 - Riverview and Nature
Very loud and bright. The campsite is right beside a busy street.
I was in town for a day and a bit, and I was able to park my truck by the river after making dinner, and warm up by my little propane fire. The whole grounds were clean and presentable! Bathroom was spotless, and the caretaker Craig (it could totally be Greg, but I’m horrible with names) was out and about when I arrived-great handshake and happy to help if you need anything! Proximity to the road didn’t end up coming into play as the road is pretty low traffic. It was more a periodic woosh almost like beach sounds, rather than engine noise, I really slept quite well! Julie is easy to reach and an amicable host. Will be back if I’m in that neck of the woods in the future for sure.
A great spot if you’re looking for privacy, and they lock the gate after dark so no other vehicles can come onto the property. So no being boxed in, no noisy other campers. If you have a pup with you, you will need to drive somewhere to walk them as it’s right on the highway and there’s not much walking on the property if you like long walks. Ground is level and firm- so no need to worry about balancing your van/rv/trailer. The view of the Sacramento River is beautiful, and you can park right by the water. Owner of property is friendly and communicative.
As a overnight stop this is a convenient spot with a great view of the water. Unfortunately the water is completely littered which takes away from the scenary but you don’t see that unless you are right up by the water. The bathrooms were real flushable toilets and I was impressed how nice they were. However there are no outlets in the bathrooms. I wouldn’t come here for a vacation but it’s nice spot on your way of traveling. If there were electrical hookups it would be even better.
