Hi, I'm Caley. I’m a single mom of three running a small homestead complete with a garden, a dog, a cat, a flock of chickens and quail, and a handful of guinea pigs. Our homestead sits along the river in the foothills above Mariposa with five acres of land to wander, swimming holes galore, and plenty of wildlife and plant life to take in along the way. I'm a musician, and I love sharing my instruments, so don't be shy about asking to borrow one. We're always happy to share a meal, let the kids run around together, or just sit and feed the animals for a while. But if you're here for peace and quiet, that's just as welcome. This is a place for whatever you need. Every dollar from your booking goes directly back into the property - animal feed, tending to the land, and the community projects we're always dreaming up. So thank you, genuinely, for being part of that. Dogs always welcome. 🐾 Inquire of you are looking for a van spot, we may be able accommodate!

Granite Sunrise Campsite

This is a fully private drive-in site. No shared paths, no neighboring tents, no one walking through. Just a granite outcropping with sunrise views, open sky, and endless stars. There is a private trail leading two minutes down to community river filled with hidden swimming holes. Wake to first light warming the stone, spend the day lounging on the granite boulders, and end the night under a genuinely dark Sierra Nevada sky. There is a glass water tank and sink to wash your dishes, a compostable toilet, a picnic table and fire pit. Fires are welcome when the fire ban is not in effect. Yosemite's Hwy 140 entrance is about 45 minutes away. Swimming is best late spring through mid summer. Dogs always welcome!

Van Boondock

Van lifers are welcome to boondock on the property to swim and fill up on water. We also have a trash/recycling/compost available and laundry access upon request. We may be able to also offer an electric hook up but depends on what type you need. Please inquire!

The suite has its own private entrance, a comfortable bedroom and living space, and a kitchenette for slow mornings with coffee or tea. I'm a musician and love sharing my instruments. Feel free to play anything in the space: keyboard, bass, mandolin, flute, ukulele, and more! Pick one up if you've always wanted to try. Or finally finish that song you've been sitting with.
