Very quiet location. Signage to property could be easier to locate. Never met host. Great place if you are looking for a quiet, safe place for the night.

Such a unique spot! Really peaceful and quiet. David and neighbors are nearby so it felt safe, but also totally unique with the hangars/runway right nearby. Easy to find and David was really responsive to my questions. You’re a little exposed without much tree cover, but we didn’t mind it at all since we had a van and were out and about during the day.

Great place to stay! A quite camping spot that isn’t far from the beach and other Fort Bragg activities. Would definitely stay here again.

We had just come from a busy, crowded RV park and it was so refreshing to chill on Davids property. We were setting up as a helicopter was taking off! The camping area was great for walking our pups and it's a lovely neighborhood. David, thanks so much for opening your space for campers.

We had a very nice stay at Hanger 54! The sites were simple and large and beautiful. The sites were very well marked - just follow the instructions to get to the place and the sites are right there!
We were not able to meet David, but everything was super easy. We walked down to the beach each evening - about 10-15 minutes or so. We had two dogs with us, so had to pay attention to where we were, as there are some areas of the beach that are not open to dogs.
The wifi worked one day intermittently, but there was a nice space to deploy my Starlink to get on the internet. I read that there is wifi available, but would be best to have some backup. Verizon signal was pretty low, and data was not the best. The Starlink came to the rescue.
Getting into Ft Bragg was quick and easy - just a few minutes down the road to town. Nice place to check out - some good restaurants and plenty of little shops to stop in to.
If you want to spend some time in Ft Bragg, check out Hanger 54. All of the campgrounds around are packed in tight. Hanger 54 was a nice way to spend a few days and not have people all up in your space.

You have to have the have an RV cause there's no bathroom but if you got that covered it's great. Close to the beach. Close to town. If you have a bike it's trivial but walking is possible too. Wireless was nice. I went to have a nice place to work for two days!

We loved David's spot, so much we stayed an extra night. David is a great host and this is a wonderful stop on your trip down (or up) Highway 1. Short walk to the coastal state park. through walking path on the west side of Highway 1. From there one can walk ( about 1.5 miles) along a coastal path to a couple of restaurants to the south.
We loved the quiet compared to all the folks we could see in the campgrounds we bipassed to stay at David's.

This was a perfect location and fun place to be. We loved the scenery and it was so exciting to see the few planes that came and went. It was quiet off the highway but a nice walk to the beach. David was very flexible and friendly. We can’t wait to come back.

Easy directions to camp site. It was clean, very quiet and nice surroundings. It was peaceful as we slept, with the sounds of the oceans waves. David came out to great us, very polite and pleasant to talk too.

Loved the quiet!! Wi-Fi wasn’t working, so that was a down side. Otherwise what others wrote was accurate. We were the only ones there.

Interesting place to spend the night - next to a tiny lightly used airport close to the town of Ft Bragg. He is planning electric and wifi in the future and has water so of yet. David communicated quickly and clearly. Nice quiet spot for the night. Spot was flat.

We spent a long weekend enjoying the ocean, hanging out at the beach, wandering through town. We appreciated the large space available to park our rig at the end of the day. A flat surface, well marked in a quiet neighborhood. Due to fire restrictions and cool Fall we did not spend much time outside of our rig.
Traveling with our dogs we appreciated the pooper scooper set out for us. The free wi-fi was a fantastic surprise. David was a gracious, available on site.
We will Definitely return again, I was so happy to not have other campers close, the quiet space and privacy was worth it!

What a great spot! Nice grassy area off a quiet safe road. So fun to watch planes at this private airport. Short bike ride to ocean and paved bike path to Fort Bragg! Would definitely stay again! David was a great host!

Easy in and out. Quiet but remote from everything. 15 min walk to beach but since I am a sea glass hunter it was disappointing. No glass at all. Just dead jelly fish and kelp. We were not towing so we had no way to get to the State park, restaurants, or anything else. No Uber. Good place to walk furry family members… lots of green space. If you just want a place to land for a night, it is just fine.

This was a nice spot to spend the night. It was easy to get to. Unstuffy. Host was very nice. And it's close to all in Fort Bragg. We had a pleasant stay.
