This spot was perfect, my fiancé and I stopped here on our way to Yosemite from San Francisco for a night to plug in and make sure our camper was ready for the weekend. It is just outside Yosemite’s border and about an hour and a half from Yosemite Valley.
Elyse’s spot was very quiet and on an amazing property shared with a airbnb and laundry/bathroom to use. We watched deer right on our porch in the morning and was a great place to start our trip, couldn’t recommend it more!

This was our first time trying out Hip Camp and what a wonderful first time it was! We go camping to get some peace and quiet and that is exactly what we found here. Our camp host was very quick to answer all my questions. The electric water and sewer were all conveniently located. The laundry and bath room were very clean.
Pro Tips:
- There is no circuit breaker on the 30A service. Use care when plugging in and unplugging.
- On backing in, it is best to drive straight toward the trailer on the far left, then start backing around the drive into slot 1 (marked as Hip Camp). Takes a little effort to get backed in properly but it is very worth it once you are all set up.

Just a little above Sonora right off Highway 108, it sits on a lovely oak tree covered lot next to two other permanent RV homes. Quiet, bathroom is not too far. A nice tree swing and chairs to sit out. We enjoyed our stay. Wifi connection is at the bathroom but we were still mostly able to connect from within our RV.

Elyse’s site was so awesome. With a private bathroom and shared laundry room, this site was perfect for a weekend! You do share the area with two other parties but you still feel very secluded and private. We had a fantastic time. Thank you Elyse!

This was a perfect camp spot if you’re looking to stay in the area. Elyse and her family are great! Though we kind of share the large field space with two other camp areas, you feel as if your space is private for sure. They also provided us a solo stove and some firewood for a campfire, which was perfect! We were greeted by the family husky and the community cat and both were sweet as pie. We even had a quick sighting of a deer in the early morning. The bathroom is super clean and accommodating. The sink provides super hot water as well.

We originally booked green acres for one week and extended a few more days!
Perfect location to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee outside in the morning, close to stores and restaurants.
The hosts have been so great and responsive. We had trouble with our RV power and they were down within minutes to help us!

Amazing place to stay!! Quiet, peaceful, secluded. Just minutes from town, close to many must see areas, and very comfortable. Level pad for travel trailers, full hookups, and a big field for dogs as well. Elyse is a great host; very responsive, and very accommodative. Highly recommend this site!!

Great stay! Elyse was super communicative and helpful, and the spot was flat with super clean facilities and hook ups. Be aware that the electrical hook up does NOT have a standard 15 amp wall outlet; I was able to grab a 15-to-30 amp converter at Tractor Supply for my needs. Wifi to the site itself is a bit spotty but stronger by the restroom, which has a nice chair on the porch. Local cat was precious.
