This beautiful property has many delights. Once a hydraulic mining site, and remnants of ancient riverbeds run through this land, visible along the hillside. Bring your gold pans and try your luck at gold prospecting if that’s something your heart has long desired. If you love rock hunting, you’ll also enjoy exploring the property’s abundance of white quartz rocks, in addition to potential gold finds. This area is also a great place to go Mountain Biking. Downieville is a 30 min drive. It has a general store, pizza parlor and all the things a tiny quaint town has to offer..... The North and Middle fork of the Yuba River meets in the "Downtown" Downieville and is a beautiful picturesque place to relax and soak in all the beauty. It's also a great place to jump in and cool off in the summer months.Site 1 has a flat area with plenty of spots to pitch tents. There are no fires allowed in summer due to the dry conditions and laws of the county. Propane fire pits are ok. Bring a kayak or canoe to float around in. Perfect family camping for kids too!

Nice little campsite it was quiet and easy to access. And easy to pan for gold with the ponds. Definitely planning on going back soon!
