Site 1 - Ocean View Campsites
This campsite was perfect. Just across the highway from the coast with beautiful views of the ocean. Campsite was well kept and very private with only 3 sites that were well spaced apart. The sunsets were incredible. Will definitely be going back. Susan Sent over a list of local beaches and national parks, this was extremely helpful. Looking forward to next time.

Amazing camping spot!
A great camping site! It was easy getting to the camping spot even at night! Signs made it helpful and so did the instructions. The road getting there is a bit steep and bumpy so make sure to kick in that feature if your car has it. My car is a hybrid sedan that is pretty low but it was able to make it up there. The site itself was nice, porta potty was clean, and they had a really big sink that was extremely helpful. The views were also great. The stars look amazing at night and during daylight you are able to see the ocean from the camping site. We would definitely camp here again if we had the chance!

The sunset was awesome.
Just as advertised. An amazing spot to watch the sunset and listen to the trees creak. 10/10 would recommend.

Site 1 - Ocean View Campsites
Great views
My brother and I toured the Mendocino coast over a 4-day weekend. We rented a sprinter van and stopped at 3 HipCamp sites along the way. The grounds provided the basics in terms of having a spot to park an RV or pitch a tent and the sites were clean. The place had a great view of the ocean and the wind (not horrible, just constant during our stay) is likely the reason why they don't allow fires. The back of the sit was a bit more "rustic" with some old autoparts and wood scraps laying around the wash area and portapotties. All in all it was peaceful and served our needs. FYI - Our 21' van almost didn't make it up the steep hill to the sites.

Site 2 - Ocean View Campsites
Nice spot
This is a lovely camp area. The views are gorgeous. There is a port a potty and nice area for washing up. The other guests we met were lovely. Site 2 has a great space for a tent. It is not quite level enough for a van though. Everything kept sliding of counters no matter how we positioned the van. I would recommend site 1 if you plan to sleep in your van. Plus it’s closer to the view.
Go to Gama restaurant in Point Arena for gourmet Japanese food. It was next level.

Camp site 3
Tent camping there was fun! Was a lil misty in the morning and the trees made it look awesome! Water was plentiful, restrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen a porta-potty. A small fire pit would’ve been nice to keep warm but understand some people are not competent. Great clean area overall.
