Bethany and her boys were fantastic hosts and the Forest Haven Treehouse was such a lovely little home for a couple of days. The neighborhood was charming and quiet, and Bethany had great recommendations for things to do/see/eat in the area. The treehouse itself was adorable and comfortable, with the bed made up nicely and string lights strewn around. All in all, a perfect little vacation - I hope to visit again soon!

My boyfriend and I travel quite a lot and this was one of our favorite places that we have ever stayed. Bethany provided easy instructions to Forest Haven and parking was a breeze. Upon our arrival, we met with Bethany who showed us around and she had a nice printed list of recommendations for the area that included restaurants, parks and the wi-fi password. There were other people staying in a tent site nearby, but even with the other guests on the property, it was still very private and you couldn't hear them at all from the treehouse. Bethany and her husband John were awesome, friendly and just all around cool people. At the end of the night, we ended up sitting around the campfire with them chatting and it was a lot of fun! The treehouse itself was adorable. It was spacious and cool, even in the hot California weather. Inside, there were fans, outlets, a chair and a couch. The bed was comfortable and had some pillows around. My boyfriend and I were really concerned about the bugs, as we usually camp in an enclosed tent, and he is extremely prone to bug bites. We were honestly shocked at the fact that we maybe saw one bug total in the treehouse the entire time that we were there. If you are at all concerned about this, don't be. Bethany had set up some sorts of bug lamps on the property, so that may have been the solution, but we were pleasantly surprised. In addition to the amazing stay, the town was great. Lots of different restaurants and activities, including free screenings of movies in the park and free music. My only regret was not staying longer! We will definitely return! Bethany was one of the best hosts we've ever had, not just with Hipcamp - she was kind and thoughtful, quickly responsive, and cared about her guests. If you're reading this - book!

Bethany was a wonderful and welcoming host. Bethany contacted me ahead of time as well as the day of to ensure that I knew how to get there, where to stay, as well as where to park. The tree house was clean and cozy and the amenities of the wash station and the bathroom were above par.

If the tree house is anywhere along your route, stop in and stay. It’s super great and comfy. I really wanted the experience of sleeping outside and up high, and not needing to bring my camping gear. The tree house is perfect for that. And Bethany was a wonderful hostess!

Bethany was a very welcoming host. We were here for 2 nights and had a nice stay in their Lotus Belle tent. It was very nice to not have to have the hassle of setting up own tent, etc. There was a table with a “sink” and a hose next to the central fire pit location that was naturally became the kitchen to make/eat food. This set up made it easy and was our home base for exploring Central Coast area. It was great to have a real bathroom with sink and toilet accessible. We were there during a little heat wave so we beat the heat by spending a beautiful afternoon at Morrow Bay (about 25 mins drive), this was the right speed for our littles, 2 and 4. Upon leaving, we found a great Children’s Museum, library and amazing park nearby in Paso Robles (about 10-15 mins away).

One of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. The night we went was the hosts band practice so while in the tree house we heard faint jazz/blues music. It was so relaxing and our host, Bethany was incredibly nice and helpful. Will come again !

I fell in love with Bethany’s treehouse. She and her husband have given close attention to the details to make their treehouse as comfortable as possible. She was very kind and accommodating. She even suggested wineries and resturaunts to visit while in town. This place is a “Big Kid’s” dream. Thanks again Bethany. We hope to be back soon.

Bethany was such a great host! She and her family made us feel welcome and comfortable. Her place felt like camping in the woods and was very fun for kids. Access to a bathroom and water was important to us, so we were glad that this offered both. Additionally, the property had several areas were we could place our tent while still having easy access to our vehicle. As first-time Hipcampers, we had such a great experience that we intend to visit other Hipcamps during our upcoming family travels. Thank you Bethany!

We had a great experience at the treehouse. The infrastructure and build of the treehouse is AMAZING, and their backyard is an outdoor lover's haven. Note that there may be other campers around during your stay. so it is not as private, but it was nice that we were able to close the curtains. Having a fan was also perfect during the summer heat, and the crisp morning was a pleasant. Access to the restroom is also convenient through a private entrance. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Bethany and her family were truly amazing hosts. They provided us with more than we expected, and excellent recommendations on how to enjoy their wonderful Central Coast home. Their space is beautiful, covered by grand oak trees that provide a sanctuary to families and wildlife. I am sure we will return soon.

Bethany was a very nice host. She showed us all the amenities she offers to her guests in a small tour of the property. The tent was beautifuly decorated and it was extremely comfortable. I made this reservation for a special occasion and the belle tent made things extra special.

We had a very nice stay in the tent spot here. We made a fire in the central fire pit, cooked our dinner using the grate provided, and were later joined by other campers and the hosts, Bethany and John. They were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It was really fun getting to know everyone and chatting and playing guitar by the fire. They have a half bathroom attached to the house, so you have access to a real toilet and sink. It is a very cool little forest in a residential area. Don't expect a giant forest with tons of privacy but rather enjoy the cool space and meeting other campers! We got to check out the treehouse and the bell tent and they were both super cool! Would definitely consider staying there too.

Bethany is a great host! The Belle tent is amazing and I honestly want one in my backyard exactly like the way she decorates this one. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay so much.

The Belle tent was the perfect spot to split up our roadtrip and spend the night on our way north. Host is friendly and provides recommendations of fun activities around the area. Great value for the price!

Had a great stay, set up our tent, bbq'd and spent the night. Woke up nice and quietly with no rush. Really enjoyed staying at Bethany's. She was very nice and hospitable. About a 40 min drive to Montana de Oro were we went hiking for the day.

We were on the way to Santa Barbara from Bay Area after the rush hour and need an overnight stay where our kid could enjoy the outdoorsy sleep and this was a perfect location for us to unwind and get a good night’s sleep in the yurt. Our kid wanted to come back and sleep there again someday soon!

Our host was so welcoming. This was our first hipcamp experience and we had a great time. My family and I were put right at ease by Bethany's accommodating nature. The backyard is really nice with towering oak trees and there is nice level ground for a tent. The kids are very sweet and add a family atmosphere to the place. Definitely would stay here again.

My sister and I were looking for a getaway In wine country. We also wanted to experience a tree house stay. We got the best of both at Bethany’s. Bethany and family were very welcoming, quick to respond and made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This place was the accurate tree house experience it promised, wonderful! If there were other campers on the property it would not be very private but all dwellings are separate and spread through beautiful oak trees. Bethany was great - kind and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

The tree house was awesome! Very cool and comfortable. There is a nice spot to go if you are in the mood to socialize. There were 2 other parties of people in addition to us camping on their property the day we went. The fire pit was shared by all, so be ready to meet some new people if others are camping on the property that night. Also, very close to the main house and another yert-type tent that can be rented out. They said it would be moved eventually, but it was placed almost directly below the treehouse so we didnt feel we had much privacy at all. It's a nice spot to sleep, but don't expect much privacy.

Bethany, John and her boys were amazing hosts! Their backyard is absolutely majestic and I definitely reccomend this place for a sweet little getaway. As first time Hipcampers we didn’t know what to expect, but they made sure to take care of us from the moment we got in to town until we left. My boyfriend was in search of a work space and the treehouse ended up working out as his office for the morning with strong WiFi up amongst the birds! Thank you so much, can’t wait to return.
