Camp with sweeping views of beautiful pastureland in West Marin. Enjoy privacy, birds singing, cows, chickens, food from the farm, and hiking our gorgeous land that is on the Estero San Antonio. The campsites are spaced far apart from one another to ensure some privacy.  It is very quiet out here at night.  If there are other campers you might hear them in the distance.  All campsite are located overlooking the Estero and close to the grass road to enter and exit the property. You will have access to some of our pastures for picnics and leisurely walks.  When you check in we will give you directions to a few special places around the surrounding area and see if you would like some grassland finished beef, lamb, pork, eggs, or vegetables all grown or made on our ranch.  We offer other care packages, ask us when you arrive (include, home made focaccia, sourdough bread, local cheeses, etc...)  A liability waiver will be needed to be signed. This is primitive camping,  There is water but it is not potable. so bring your own drinking water. It can get very windy out here in Spring and Summer.  Come prepared.  We have situated the campsites to be on the leeward side and as protected as possible.  We try to leave the land better off than we found it and hope that you will share the same respect for the pristine beauty of this place. We are 10 minutes away from the quaint town of Tomale and 15 minutes from the town of Valley Ford. Dillon Beach is only 3.5 miles away.  Bring your own kayak or canoe and paddle to the ocean down the Estero San Antonio! You can learn more about our land and practices check out True Grass Farms online.

Egret Nest
Let Egret’s Nest be your roost
Guido & Emily’s place is a magical haven of relaxation and beauty, we throughly enjoyed our stay on their land and would highly recommend it to fellow campers. In addition to the beautiful settings, they also have delicious local produce, beef and lamb for sale at their farmstand.

Goose Nest
Peaceful and Beautiful!
We wished we could stay longer. The views are beautiful and constantly changing with the time of day. The place is alive with many species of birds, dragonflies, and tiny little frogs. It was very quiet. When we were there the campgrounds were full, but unless you walked down the path, you wouldn't know it. We couldn't see or hear any of the other guests from where we were. Everything is well thought out and well cared for. In the initial pictures, it doesn't look like there is a picnic table, but there is. The outhouses with compost toilets were remarkably clean and organized. We definitely plan to come back.

Owl Nest
Beautiful stay
We absolutely loved camping here. The owls nest site felt very private and had plenty of space and is probably the site we would stay at again. The views of the land were expansive and beautiful. You could hear birds singing throughout the day and distant sounds of cows and sheep. The night sky was filled with stars. One thing to note is the neighbors have dogs that protect the sheep and one night they were barking quite late and for a while. The hosts let us know this is rare. It certainly wouldn’t deter us from staying again, I might just bring ear plugs next time just in case. We’re already looking forward to our stay here!

The Great Blue Heron
Wonderful Kid-Friendly Getaway
Very nice modest camp locale with creature comforts a step above tent camping, which was great for me and my young children. Very beautiful and quiet spot with easy access from road, but there was very infrequent car traffic to interrupt total privacy and serenity. Responsive host. Worthwhile add-ons. Hassle-free coming and going for our two-night stay. Short drive to multiple beaches. This location slightly West of Tomales was sunny every day during our stay, but much cooler than nearby hot inland locations. Perfect balance between costal cool and inland Summer heat. We will be back.

A charming & delightful get away :)
Sweet lil gem, peaceful, private and relaxing! Nicely decorated modern-feel trailer with a comfortable bed. Adjacent farm shop filled with fresh meat and eggs. Close to Bodega Bay and darling Tomalas.
