Chateau Vigne is our second home, sometimes short term rental on 1.34 acres on the west side of Atascadero. It is a serene and peaceful property. There are daily deer sitings on the property and the location couldn't be better. It is close to the 101 freeway, but far enough for peace and quiet. We are central to Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Cambria. Only 30 minutes to Hearst Castle, 1.25 hours to Solvang, 24 minutes to Morro Bay or Cambria. There are more wineries than you could possibly visit, natural hot springs nearby, Atascadero lake, zoo, spas, amazing hiking, horse riding etc. In addition to the camping spot, the backyard has resort like amenities for an extra fee. (hot tub, plunge pool, sun deck, BBQ grill, vine covered gazebo with fire pit, 200" outdoor movie theater, outdoor dining, etc) Grocery, fast food, shopping + great restaurants are within minutes and the thrifting and antiquing around here is amazing. Atascadero has that small town feel with lots of community events on the calendar. This parking spot is in on the front portion of our property on a mostly dirt patch separated by a swale that runs through the property. You can park behind the tall trees against the street for privacy. There is a large turnaround area. The vegetable garden is my neighbors property and their property line extends to the swale. Please do not walk on their spot. There are no hookups of any kind and no bathroom. There is no access to the house or any other areas on the property other than the designated area. This spot is appropriate for Class B and C rigs, fifth wheels and most travel trailers. No tent camping. There is a security camera on the shop and a ring doorbell on the front door and motion activated lights that will turn on, although we ask that you don't approach the house or go in the back yard. Lights on the buildings turn on at dusk and turn off at daylight. Dogs (maximum 2) are okay provided they stay leashed at all times and any droppings are immediately disposed of inside your RV. No extra fee for your fur babies. This spot is open most mid weeks and on weekends, provide the Airbnb guests staying approve. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. We do love our neighbors and request that only quiet and respectful campers inquire.

Welcome to Chateau Vigne! Park on a private tree lined gravel driveway on 1.34 serene acres with resort-like amenities just off the 101 in Atascadero. Enjoy a hot tub, cold plunge, fire pit under cafe lit vine covered gazebo, large fully enclosed backyard with games, BBQ + dining tables and an outdoor 200" movie screen. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained and leave no trace. This parking spot is at the end of our driveway near the main house. There are daily deer crossings on our property of a pod of about 10 deer. You will see squirrels, lots of birds and butterflies. Close to the 101 freeway, but far enough for peace and quiet. We are central to Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Cambria. Only 30 minutes to Hearst Castle, 1.25 hours to Solvang, 24 minutes to Morro Bay or Cambria. We have both 30 and 50 amp plugs and the hose spigot is attached to the house on the left and there is a turnaround in the driveway for easy exit. You will have the entire driveway and backyard of the property to yourself during your stay. There is a small possibility there will be another camper across the swale on the front of the property, but you will have total privacy. This spot is appropriate for Class B and C rigs and some smaller trailers. There is a security camera on the shop and a ring doorbell on the front door and motion activated lights that will turn on. Marilynn was responsive and provided good, clear info. We parked our little camper van on her land overnight, and the spot was neat and clean, quiet and peaceful, and separated from the road by trees. We were grateful for a safe nook to tuck into, and we would definitely stop here again.

The house is nestled in a dreamy neighborhood with oak-trees, cute deers walking around. It is quiet and smells so good from the rosmary bushes, the lavender etc. A peaceful getaway. Next coffee shop, laundry, grocery shopping within 5 min! Can highly recommend.
