Camp Robinson is 123 completely secluded acres, set in the Paso Robles wine country, with thousands of oak trees, incredible views, abundant wildlife, seasonal creeks, hiking trails, several tent camping sites, spots to park campers, two small cottages and a cozy bunkhouse. There are several sitting/gathering areas scattered around the property and plenty of opportunities to unwind. There are hiking trails on the property, roads (both paved and dirt) to ride bikes, nearby wine tasting, and fresh air to clear your head. Nearby wineries offer wine tasting and restaurants. Mountain View Lookout

Relaxing location with great views

Beautiful location! We enjoyed our stay on Dale's property. We booked the Mountain View site and the views are amazing—fantastic sunrises, tranquil, and a perfect relaxing place. Had a few deer sitings and heard a turkey here and there, hawks floated over our campsite on the thermals searching for their dinner. Very nice weekend!

Wonderful views

We’ve been trying to get our group of camping friends to try off the grid camping away from established campsites for a while. This site was a perfect way to get our friends to try something new, and it delivered. Except the one nearby site, which was unoccupied while we were there, it was just our crew in the wilderness. Gone were the sounds of the city, replaced with the calming chirps of birds, rustling wind in the branches of the oak trees, and silence. The views were excellent and the site provided a large amount of space, including for our pop-up setup and three cars. The road was quite rocky to drive up, but a Jeep, Sprinter van and a Volkswagen Jetta GTI with a good driver behind the wheel made it up up without issues.

Dale is a great host!

Dale was a terrific host. We had some (non-campsite) issues that occurred and Dale was very understanding and accommodating. I highly recommend Dale and his campsite. Thank you Dale!

Amazing views in Paso Robles!

We had a great time up at this beautiful remote location, which had amazing views and a good deal of space to utilize. Dale was very helpful and communicative with me, checking back to ensure we were able to get access from the gate. You won't need a 4-wheel drive vehicle but definitely expect a few bumps and some steep areas on the approach. It is a bit sun exposed in summer so if you can bring a canopy, it can help provide some cover. Would definitely head back!
