There is a road that leads to the site when you enter the gate the road runs between the stream and the mountain there are 4 Camps to choose from so far. Many more on the way and you can ask if you would like to camp somewhere else on the property and we can work it out. The site runs along a flowing stream consisting of paths from camp to stream. There are many trees enclosing the entire camping area.

Enter gate go across the creek crossing and turn right once then stay left until you go up a small hill to a meadow area with a horse corral.

Once again, amazing! Love the sounds of the peacocks during the day and the frogs at night! The swimming hole is so Zen! Hosts are lovely and always stopping by to say hello! We’ve stayed a total of 4 times now!

It was good spot I’m not sure who the host was an older gentleman stopped by to talk to us but it was definetly not the host from the profile picture (who also never responded to my message about how the lighting is at the camp) I also didn’t care for the fact that it’s listed as fire allowed and then he messaged me after booking to say it’s not I understand it’s the county restricting it but it really should be taken off the listing in that case

Great campsite for children. Owners were friendly and helpful. The creek was a beautiful and refreshing for afternoon swims. All campsites were sanded making tent bottoms much more comfortable to sleep on. Access to a hose was great for cleaning dishwater and taking quick showers. Overall this was a great site. We will be back in the future!

lovely campsite! one of my favorites ever. you are right up against a creek with sand so it's super soft to sleep on. the chairs and table are wonderful AND you get to fall asleep to the sound of frogs. peacocks woke us up in the morning which was a pleasant surprise and the site was immaculate!

We loved this spot! We seemed to have it to ourselves; super quiet midweek. Campsite, firepit, creek and toilet - all clean, and the host (who drove by a few times to check on us) was super friendly (even offered us floaties for the swimming hole). We loved the peacocks and frogs (noisy at night but that didn’t bother us) - very few flies and mosquitos, which was great, but a lot of fuzzy caterpillars! Small market nearby, well stocked. We’ll be back, thank you!

Such a beautiful place! The campsite I was at was absolutely amazing. Oak creek beach I think. Perfect ground to pitch your tent, picnic table, nice fire pit with comfortable chairs, good shade, trees that were perfect for my hammock, right on the creek, 50ish ft from the swimming hole. Fell asleep to frogs ;Woke up to peacocks. Easy to find, well maintained, friendly camp host! All around would recommend, thank you for having me, I will be back :)

The creek/swimming hole was easily accessible lots of shade and the spout of water on the campsite made washing dishes much easier lizard who lives on the property was very friendly and welcoming even brought my toddlers some peacock feathers and let them use his water floaties they were ecstatic! we had such a good a good time the occasional visit from the peacock's was nice and at night all you hear is the frogs and crickets along with running stream it’s so serene the break from the city was well needed can’t wait to be back!

I love this place! The greenery and privacy is really nice, the creek/river is beautiful too and all the amenities make things easy. This is my second time visiting and I finally got to meet the owner, who is also super cool. I definitely plan to come back again. Only gripe I have was that there was multiple spots where a dog had recently pooped around my campspot and I had nothing to pick it up with and clean myself so I just had to avoid it. I don't think this is that big of a deal though and is easily fixable. Thank you again!

Had an awesome time! Site is right next to a nice creek, there was even running water through a hose for washing and an electrical outlet available to charge your phone if need be. There was also a nice clean portajohn there. There were Peacocks all around which was rad, We also brought our dog and he had a blast too. It started to rain which got all our wood wet and the guys running the place made sure we got some dry stuff to be able to get a fire going. Just an all around good time. Everyone we ran into was super nice and helpful and just wanted us to have fun. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Lizard, Kevin, and Nick, you guys are awesome. Lizard really took care of us.

Peaceful and relaxing camp! We met a few nice people, the porta-potty was very clean, and the creek was super calming. The fire pit was ready when we arrived. At night, we listened to frogs, crickets, and even peacocks they said about 200 are in the area! It’s a secure, gated spot, perfect for letting my little one explore. You can hear some cars early on, but later it’s just pure nature. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Beautiful grounds & great instructions. The sites are lovely by the river with everything we needed. My son loved playing in the creek. You do hear the road but otherwise just the sounds of peacocks & frogs! Highly recommend.

We were looking for a quick escape from the city and this was just so, so nice. Wild Peacocks everywhere! Our 4-year-old could have spent 8 years playing in the creek (but only go to the right, maybe north...just don't go the way of private property). Lizard was the coolest host and brought our little dude peacock feathers...was really, truly a very nice quick escape.

Such a beautiful location, lots of space for our car, tent, and fire pit! There was a picnic table and 2 chairs which were perfect for us & the area was well maintained. The sound of the river was so soothing, the trees provided a bit of shade too. We will be coming back here soon… maybe next weekend it was so grounding and relaxing!

The entire camp was very nice and clean. You could see the stars clearly at night. Some of the things that stood out from this place was the picnic table, wooden chair, and bench next to the creek. It adds a nice touch to the place. You can hear a fews cars driving at night, but it's very minimal and it's mostly quiet. The entrance has a gate code so not just everyone can drive in. Nick was very kind and communicative with the app. There's also a person living in the campsite nicknamed "Lizard" who is just the friendliest person and showed us all his various kinds of pets. Super cool. You're also just a minute or two away from Santa Paula Canyon Trail, which leads to the Punch Bowls.

It was a fun first experience on Hipcamp! Unfortunately, we were told we couldn’t have a campfire and were quite confused and disappointed when we saw the party next to us have a huge fire with no comment from anyone. Would have been nice to have some extra warmth and light for the early sunset. There were also moments the sounds from the road would overpower the sound of the creek. Would definitely try it again though :)

I showed up and was very happy to see they had water and there happened to be an electrical outlet just across from my site. Bring a 100ft extension cord so you can use the power if it’s available for you. 2 of my boys stayed in a tent right next to the creek and my other son and I stayed up by the picnic table. There’s enough space to spread out and be comfortable. About 10 huge peacocks showed up the next morning and hung out for a couple mins until my dog saw them and scared them off. Overall great experience

If you're interested in seeing more details of our visit, check out our YouTube channel or Instagram page (@AmersianCampers)! The video of this visit will come out before the end of 2024. This campground was incredibly peaceful and quiet—a perfect weekend getaway. Upon arrival, we met the host, who kindly guided us to our site. The view was beautiful, with a green hill covered in tall trees across the road. Our host, Dave, was super friendly and even offered us a propane firepit that kept us warm all night. We had plenty of space to set up our tent wherever we liked, and we enjoyed seeing peacocks around the area. The next morning, a light rain added a refreshing vibe to the campsite. Convenient amenities like a water hose and bins for both recycling and regular trash made things easy. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience—highly recommended!

We had a great time. We only spent one night, but if we were in the area, we would definitely book again. Upon arrival, we were greeted to see if we needed anything. Very close to great hiking, and even though we didn't get to meet the deer, we did get to watch the peacocks.

The place was relaxing and had a nice hike path. There’s a stream that started near the camp was soothing to sleep. The little town near the site filled in the day walking about it. Wished my friend would have thought to bring his bike along because there was a bike trail near by as well.

I totally loved tent camping on Nicks land with my girlfriend, we had an absolutely great time and it was nice to sleep with the noises of the creek and everything. We also saw a peacock in the morning that came right by the campsite!
