Welcome to our one-acre Redwood grove, complete with a seasonal creek. With both level and hilly areas, we offer one platform tent (with more on the way), a spacious Picnic Pavilion, and numerous spots for pitching a tent beneath the majestic Redwoods. Explore the many unspoiled creeks in the area, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. Additionally, the Santa Cruz beach and Boardwalk are just 6 miles south, offering endless seaside entertainment. Please note, our site holds historical significance as it borders the CZU fire burn scar. Big Basin is a mere 4 miles away, while the historic Brookdale Lodge is just 1 mile from our location.BrookCamp 1 is a large platform tent with tarp roof, still being fixed up after a rough winter. It is surrounded by large flat areas, some hills and a delightful seasonal creek, all in the midst of a magnificent Redwood Grove on 1 acre. Tall Grove Tent

This location was perfect for a quick getaway. We stayed for a night with our dog to get a break from the heat and there was plenty of room for the three of us. It was also close to Henry Cowell Redwoods and about 25 minutes from the coast.

Private and isolated

I booked a campsite and confirmed my teardrop trailer would fit, and reserved it. Later, the host said it might not fit but offered a spot near his house, which was next to a busy road. I booked this thinking I would be in the woods, so his wife drove me to check camp site. We got the trailer in by unhooking and lifting it but before doing this she was concerned and suggested a refund or if I got stuck to hire local men to get me out which seemed stressful to me. It was 4 pm the day before the 4th of July, and everything was booked so I stayed. I stayed one night ( forfeited second night) despite feeling unsafe as a single woman with no cell service, isolated on a private road. But this is just me and you may feel safe just know how comfortable you are being alone. The site was very primitive, with lots of beautiful trees and mosquitoes, resembling boondocking. The host was very accommodating, but I wish I had a clearer picture beforehand to better decide if it’s the right fit for me.

Really not much here. Just a terraced off area in what looks like a gravel pit or something. Definitely not worth the $70. Never saw or heard from the host.

Tall Grove Tent

A must visit

Great location. Had a great experience. Tall redwood trees make it a gem. Location had a nice big tent already set up which we could use. Make sure to check if its always the case.
