Chairs and table are provided for your comfort. Come pitch your tent or park your RV! No visible neighbors make this a wonderful secluded getaway. Just 20 min to great hiking trails and the famous Emerald Pools in Emigrant Gap and 30 min to Truckee. Pet friendly. The space Entire property is for exclusive guest use. Guest access Most of the road in is paved and the last mile or so is a dirt and gravel road. No 4×4 access required as long as there is no snow. Property is located at 5,000 feet in elevation. Large parking area. Detailed directions and map location are provided as there is no numbered address for the property. Other things to note This property is on forest land and black bears do reside in the area. Secure food and trash storage is provided and required to be used. This site includes porta potties and hand washing station. Historical train tracks in the area and train runs during the day, occasionally at night. Blue Canyon Happy Place

All about that beautiful view!

The campsite is tucked away into the forest, offering privacy and seclusion (exactly what we love). The view at that campsite was drop dead gorgeous, a view of the mountains with trees that seemed to go on forever. We were there in fall time so the the beauty of the fall colors made it even prettier. The campsite had everything we needed, fire ring, picnic table, and chairs. This was a great relaxing weekend with the kids. Some short paths to explore by foot or atv, but not too much to do within walking distance. This was fine by us, as we enjoyed slowing down and soaking in the beauty. Thanks for having us Nicholas!

We did not get a chance to stay at the camp as intended unfortunately… the entrance dirt road had a big dip that we could not get past with our sedan and had to turn back.

Blue Canyon Happy Place

We had a fantastic time at this well stocked campsite. There was a bear box full of helpful items, including bins for washing dishes, plates, cups, silverware and even a generator! It came stocked with a portopottie, faucet and several tools. Would recommend!
