Cool experience! Close enough visit the park, 29 palms, and joshua tree town but far enough from the highway for some beautiful desert views and wildlife sightings! Rabbits, falcons, and bats in our case

Off-Grid desert trip with my dogs
I had an awesome last-minute trip to Ariel's property. The off-grid setup was exactly what I was looking for in this trip to the desert with my two pups. Ariel was nice enough to bring firewood for the wood-burning stove inside this simple one-room cabin. The outdoor firepit was an extra perk for me. The view at night was fantastic and it was one of the quietest places I had ever been.

Ariel’s land was the perfect way to embrace the Joshua tree area. A lot of wide open space, cozy cabin and very specific instructions. Would definitely stay there again

Thank you Ariel for being so helpful and quick to respond to messages. Lovely little cabin with easy access to the National park entrances. There’s games, kitchen utensils, a grill, and a wood stove for all your creature comforts, plus a fire pit still makes you feel like it’s a fun camping experience. I’d come back!

The host double booked so when we got to the site there was already a couple staying at the cabin. I was told I would be refunded- unfortunately it was not the full amount. Once I contacted hipcamp I did receive my money back in full, thank goodness. Ariel was short & unapologetic through texts.

Sweet Little Desert Experience
Ariel’s attention to detail and the gorgeous scenery made this a truly sweet little desert experience. There is a grill, a fire pit, and, inside a wood fire oven - wildly convenient for cooking and water. Also, the cabin was stocked with games, dishes, firewood, and everything we needed for a cozy night. Definitely recommend!
