Incredible experience
We had an amazing time at 3 Moons, off the grid in a desert is really something else. Beds were comfortable and there is a working stove and a grill at the site. If you are not afraid of the desert wildlife at night, you will have a great time.

This was what I needed for the night. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed the sunset and a good nights rest. Not fancy but great for me.

A unique and lovely place to stay
We had a great place in the desert to stay with our rv over night while traveling. Everybody living at the project was so friendly! Our 1.5 year old was able to enjoy it as much as we did. It was a unique experience for us. Thank you so much!

3 Moons project is an inspirational place whose founder is 91 years young and still building earthen walls out in the heat! The 3 Moons community is generous and compassionate, and make for wonderfully accommodating hosts. If you're interested in having a inspirational trip off of the beaten path make sure you stay at 3 Moons <3

It's a Tribe Vibe
This is the exact opposite of the "vanilla box" experience you might find at a hotel. My guy and I were looking to get away from everyone and see the desert bloom and the end of a meteor shower so I took a deep dive down the rabbit hole and came up here. This place is AWESOME. There's no "address", you get coordinates. The night sky is breathtaking and the dwelling we stayed in was nothing like either one of us had stayed in. I happen to be a fan of living as close to the earth as possible so the communal wash/toilet areas were a pleasant surprise. And usually I like to be around people but we were going for the opposite experience here, so we stayed back from the conversations and jollies coming from the kitchen area once the sun started setting. The host was FANTASTIC and answered any questions we had pretty much immediately. She also drew us maps so that we could explore off grounds. The generosity and hospitality we were shown (especially to be respectfully left alone to hide from everything in our space) was more personalized and inclusive than any run-of-the-mill destination I've stayed at. This place is *special*. I'd definitely go back.
