It’s a beautiful site right on Lake Cahoon. Extremely peaceful. It has electric and water hook ups. First Hipcamp site we have been to that offers those. We loved it.

This is our 3rd stay! As always, Turkey Point was clean, well maintained, quiet, and relaxing! Coyt is an amazing host and responded super quickly to all communications before and during our stay. The spot is shaded with a great open grsss area where my grandkids enjoyed playing some T-ball. The hiking trails are perfect for little hikers to explore. We really enjoy the seclusion so our dogs can be off-leash and enjoy their camping trip too! We 💯 recommend.

Great location on the water. We used kayaks and it was great being able to just beach them and not worry. The seclusion was perfect for me but with the water and woods kids kept busy the whole time! Great host very accommodating. We also have a Mastiff and Great Dane it was so nice to just let them wander around with no one to freak out.

We love this spot! This is our second stay. The first was five stars all the way. Seclusion, quiet, and privacy were highlights of our stay last time, however this time that was disrupted multiple times when 5 or 6 different times random people wandered into our space to view the property due to it currently being listed for sale.
Coyt is a great host and the camp experience overall is great!

Had an amazing stay! Spot was very level so didn’t even have to use our leveling equipment for the rv. Very private Large spot! Coyt was amazing and gave us a run down of the site and amenities, (he also knows some history of the Land if you’re interested like I was) then we didn’t see him for the rest of the stay. Dogs had plenty of space to play, we brought 3 large dogs. Also we had coverage with AT&T. Lots of wild life, eagles, geese, deer and turkey were seen! Coyt also gave us a Very Large supply of hickory fire wood for our 4 day stay for free. We will definitely be going back but next time with more friends to share the space with.

We just returned home from Turkey Point. It exceeded all of our expectations. Coyt was an excellent host. It was so beautiful. The fishing was good as well. His directions were spot on. We can't to return for another camping retreat.

Very quiet and secluded, wish I would've brung our fishing poles. Very shaded so the sun was never a problem. Would absolutely recommend! Host met us when we arrived showed us everything at the site and never saw him again although he was easily reached by messaging. Only spent two days but enjoyed every moment!

Coyt's place is really outstanding. Very peaceful and the lake is beautiful. Great place to fish. Coyt could not have been more accommodating to us. Hope to do it again soon.

Great spot. We camped in a 28’ travel trailer. There is electric hook up. Firewood provided. The water hose he has is long, but you will need to fill up your water tank to use as there is no end to connect to your camper. No biggie it is plenty long to reach. Nice and quiet.

I really enjoyed popping up my Rockwood popup camper on Coyt’s property. It absolutely lived up to the name, I saw at least 20 turkeys about the property.
I wasn’t prepared for fishing, but I definitely will be the next time!
This is a Gem and most beautiful camping site.
BTW, follow Coyt’s directions, not your GPS😄

Turkey Point on Lake Cahoon
This is our second time camping at Coyt's place, and I can't say enough good things about it! He has made some extra seating and another fire pit area, and the whole place is beautiful. Our dogs were sure it was Heaven- quiet, secluded, shade, water, power, and so much space. Thank you, Coyt, and we are definitely staying longer next time.

A nice little escape. The property was well kept and the view of the lake is amazing. I would definitely recommend the lower camp. Electricity and water are available for those who don't quite want to rough it. My friends and I are already planning a future trip.

Perfect spot for tents, teardrops or large RVs. Two fire pits, multiple power stations, cold sweet well water, hiking paths and right on the lake with beautiful views. Coyt, is a wonderful host. I will be back soon.

Due to a winter storm approaching, we needed to arrive a day early and Coyt was accommodating. He had plenty of wood for us to use for a campfire and came to check on us after the few inches of snow fell overnight. It was a cold few days but we made the most of it.

This was the second time visiting the camp and Coyt has made some wonderful improvements. The custom log benches looked great and were comfortable to use. I am looking forward to the next visit.

Super private and a beautiful plot of land. Electric hookups and well water definitely came in handy. Coyt takes care of the area very well. 2 fire pits so you can choose if you want to be in the tree cover or more out in the open. Fishing was good! Will be going back!

Fantastic, secluded spot, and excellent host! Our dogs loved running around the site and on the trails. The site had everything we needed, and was in a great location. We plan on staying longer next time, and we hope there will be no rain.

I just hope with this review that we can still be able to book time here. Turkey Point is by far the most serene spot we have camped at in our many years of camping. The water, woods, trails and hospitality were better than any resort we have stayed at.
We brought our doberman with us and had a very hard time getting her to leave with us. Those of you that have fur babies know when they don't want to leave. Thus, the reason why my wife and I picked Turkey Point. Plenty of room for the furry one's to run around and play in the water.
We lived at Turkey Point for five days in our 30 ft rv with our three year old doberman and wish we could've stayed a lot longer.
Please save us a spot!!!

A hidden gem in Suffolk. The owner is friendly and keeps up with the property really well. When we were there we felt secluded but if we needed to go to the store it was only 10 minutes away. Planning our next trip back! Thanks again.

Great stay! We tent camped for a couple nights. Coyt met us when we got there and made sure we were settled in. Then left us alone to enjoy the quiet scenery. I will definitely be staying again.

We had such a great time at this site. Its is quiet, secluded and well shaded. The power and water really made campingore enjoyable. It was the perfect choice to get away and relax. We will definitely be back!!!

We had a wonderful time! Again! This was our 2nd time staying here and loved it. We brought our kayaks and paddleboard this time and got a chance to explore the lake a bit. Our dogs loved a walk onnthe trails and the weather cooperated woderfully. Really relaxing, just what ee needed!
