We are a small Private Campground and RV Park at Bull Shoals Lake in Flippin, AR. Lake access is an easy 5 minute walk from the park. We have Full Hook Up RV sites as well as places for tents to be set up and 2 cabins for people stay in if they choose. Within short drives from our park are all kinds of activities: Fishing, boating, floating, hiking, horseback riding, you can check out some caves. Branson, MO is a pleasant 90 minute drive-great for a day trip. You will be camping amongst 100 mature oak and other varieties of trees. It is so peaceful and quiet out here that you can really enjoy the sounds of nature and the beauty of the nighttime sky. We have a very clean bath/showerhouse as well as a game room and small campstore that includes ice and firewood for sale. Also in our "Gathering Place" is a full kitchen and dining room that can be used by groups for an additional fee. We have a 20' by 40' in ground swimming pool that is a great place to spend some relaxing time during your stay, as well as a large front porch complete with rocking chairs to enjoy building relationships on.

This is a nice camp ground. Secluded area Of Flippin AR. Mike and Lori were very friendly and welcoming. we moved sites based on their advice. The bathrooms were some of cleanest we have seen. The pool was very clean. We would definitely camp here again!

Mike and Lori are excellent hosts. The campsites, property, and all the facilities were extremely clean and well maintained. Walking distance or five minute drive to the lake. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time staying here! Mike and Lori met us on the front porch as we pulled up. The camp ground was clean and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back again!

Mike and Lori are such gracious hosts! Very personable and caring . Everything you need for a great family camping experience. Clean bath house, fire pits, fire wood avail for small fee, laundry facilities, playground, communal gathering spaces. Lovely, quiet camp ground in the heart of the Ozarks.

We had a great time at SonLight Campgrounds! Mike and Lori were awesome hosts, and the grounds were very well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, and the pool was refreshing on a hot day. We would definitely stay there again!

Lori and Mike are the most friendly hosts, and we really enjoyed the time we spent there. One highlight was hopping into the swimming pool after some outdoor activities. The pool is in very good shape, tidy and clean. It provides also a great opportunity to get to know your fellow campers!

Although we arrived late for check in, our lovely hostess Lori greeted us like family. She guided us directly to our cabin and assured all our needs and desires were met. We slept fantastically and made it in time for our am obligations the following morning. Would highly recommend!!!

I took me and my four boys camping for four days. Our camp site was great. The boys loved it. Picnic table , electricity supply, plenty of firelog for the s'mores. Mike and Lori was only a text away. Everything stayed clean and neat our entire stay. We couldn't complain about a thing. We loved it

This campground is amazing! The owners were exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful. They immediately responded to emails and texts. The campground was beautiful with lots of shade. The bathrooms and showers were large and spotless. The sites were big and had nice fire pits. They have optional cabins also. The pool was wonderful and a huge bonus! They even had a room for teens to hang out. Definitely a hidden gem, not far off the main road . I would not hesitate to return. I had a wonderful stay.

So, where do I begin. Mike and Lori have been doing this for 3 seasons now. They have way more figured out on how to run a camp ground than I have seen in a very long time. The facilities were clean and never smelled. The pool was clean and uncluttered. The extras (laundry machines and game room) were well thought out and kept very clean and tidy. The campsite itself was clean and the fire pit had a grill, that was great for cooking. Even during a thunderstorm we never lost power. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. If your looking for great experience camping look no further. I want to keep saying nice things about this place but I have a feeling if I do there won’t be a spot available next year. Lol

Labor Day Weekend 2019
SonLight Campground & Cabins
Mike and Lori are great people. The site was quite and secluded from most of the other camping residents. We stayed over the Labor Day weekend and there were still many empty sites since the word hasn't really gotten out that SonLight Campground is open to the public again and under new management. Although the lake is 3 miles away, the amenities included a group fire pit and a real nice swimming pool. The campground is pet friendly, but we did have a problem with the seed ticks when walking our tiny dog. This is just a seasonal issue and we did not bring it to the owner's attention. I'm sure if we had told them, they would have put something down to help, but our stay was short and we didn't realize there was a seed tick problem until the second day. I would recommend this campground and I hope their business continues to prosper.
