Our stay was amazing! It was a bit of a squeeze for our 40 foot motorhome with a tow, but Sandra manganese to find a good spot near the grass for us. We should have unhooked and drove around a bit to see what else there was but alas, our spot worked great for us. We did not have a picnic table, due to where we parked, but not necessary as we decided not to eat outside. The bathrooms were decent, with warm water, not hot, but did have lots of spider webs surrounding the curtains and overhead near shower heads. I’m not afraid of spiders, but others may be.
The location was perfect for our site seeing adventures! We thoroughly enjoyed it, we decided to stay an extra night! Sandra was very accommodating and great at answering texts, but make sure it’s through the app, otherwise she will not receive.
My only suggestion would be to have a well worn pathway, maybe even lit up, to the bathroom building with a much better step. The step was very loose and actually dangerous if anyone used it.

Clean bathrooms. and well spaced out sites . The electric hookups are r.v. 30 amp though . You can purchase a 30 amp to 15 amp plug from the hardware store ( about 20 minutes away ) for less than $20.

We booked this campsite due to the many great reviews revolving around the spread out nature of the sites which I love. So expectations were pretty high to begin with. This place did NOT disappoint. It felt like we found our own clearing in the woods. The property is incredibly well taken care of including the bathrooms. I don't think i have ever been to a campsite with bathrooms this clean.

If you are looking for silence, disconnection and no crowds, this is your place! I asked for a quiet site and the assigned one was much better than I expected. Traveling by myself with a small tent, it is one of the best campgrounds I´ve been in. At night the sky was completely starry, there was absolute silence and the fire made the environment just amazing.
If I get the chance, I´ll go back there for sure!

This rural property in Arkansas reminded me of summer camp, a horse stable, and an RV park combined. There are bath houses and other little wooden structures scattered around winding dirt roads and corrals. We arrived at night after a rainstorm and had some trouble locating our site, but morning found it to be a sweet little patch of grass under some pines.

We had a great time during this stay. We felt safe and it was quiet. Lots of animals to look at. Sandra was so kind and welcoming. Our kids loved the horses and the dogs.

This place was easy to get to and there is a Dollar General Store close by. Unlike KOA’s, this place is very pet friendly and the campers are pet friendly. Some dogs were off leash. People on horseback will ride by on their way to the trails. If you choose a site near a set of horse pens, then bring fly spray. There are not fire rings or picnic tables at each camp site. There is not a sewer hook up at each site but there is a dumping station near the Pavilion. They do have electric and water at each site and they were shady. The bath houses are spacious and very clean. There is a pond with boats and kayaks you can use. We hiked a trail on the property but be sure to wear leg protection or wash your skin immediately afterwards because of the abundant poison ivy on the trail. We discovered a little creek with 3 small waterfalls. Apparently there is the campground and there is the Bar Fifty Guest Ranch. At the latter you can rent a room or a suite and perhaps a cabin. The cabins looked very nice. But you will have to make those arrangements on the Bar Fifty Ranch website which is separate from Hipcamp. This became important to us as we had friends with us who didn’t want to camp and needed lodging close by us. You can go on a trail ride if you don’t have horses but be sure to make arrangements before you go as the number of people who can go is limited to the number of available horses—probably through the Ranch website. Sandra was a wonderful host and quickly responds to your questions. She has a very cheerful conversational style. I think she runs the guest house as a bed and breakfast. I also applaud her dream of setting up a Christian children’s summer camp. I was also impressed by her garden out back. There is a lot to do just at the campground, but we also went off-roading Jeep trails at ORV Park near Hot Springs. Then we went fly fishing for trout at Lake Greeson Tailwaters with Matthew Baker 870-828-2950 as our guide who provided drinks & snacks, expert advice and demonstrated a lot of kindness, patience and professionalism and allowed us to bring our dogs! So this campground is a great place to stay —especially if you are from East Texas and don’t want to drive far!!

Bar 50 was a great spot to set up a tent or camper. Clean and well kept amenities, plenty of shade, and a kind host who was more than willing to help with anything if needed. Highly recommend!

I wish we had more time here! We ended up stopping to camp here on a road trip, and (of course) got in much later than we expected. It was about 10pm and a huge storm was coming and I texted Sandra to confirm we were in the right spot. She came out to meet us and then escorted us to some camp spots that would be most sheltered from the storm. We sleep well and though we had to leave early the next morning, we saw the place in daylight and it was quiet and beautiful! Definitely recommend.

The campground has great upkeep. I drive a small car and had no problems on the gravel roads. It’s a picturesque place to camp and I’d love to stay there again.

Sandra was very kind and personable. The hot wAter was not working in the shower and she sent someone right out to make it right. There’s nothing like a hot shower when your glampping! Great host and beautiful ranch

We needed a place to pull in overnight and found Bar 50 RV Campground. Sandra was responsive and accommodating. All sites were pull-through, which we appreciated since we are new at pulling a camper. The property is a very natural setting with beautiful trees. It wasn't crowded, which we liked, and we definitely felt safe.

Bar 50 was an absolutely perfect RV park! The sites were incredibly well spread out and we felt secluded at our site. Every site had a picnic table and a fire ring, which was awesome. The towering mature trees provided amazing shade and we loved all the well groomed paths. The pond was wonderful, and we loved the provided canoe and paddle bike. Overall, we can't recommend this amazing RV park enough, we thoughtfully enjoyed our stay!

Wow. What a host. For whatever reason the gps took me to three different places none of which were correct. Eventually she directed me to a gas station and came and met me there. This was at 10 o’clock at night. From there I met her wonderful family as well as a friendly dog and affectionate horses. Never slept better. I hope I have a reason to come back through.
