Rocky Creek Camper’s Choice
We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around.
The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold.
We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

Michelle was incredible. This is the second time I’ve been here and both have been an incredible experience. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. She even took my kids to go see and pet their sheep. Highly recommended for families or even singles.

BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL, a must go!
Host met us to get us settled, showed us all amenities and offered really anything we could have needed!
The outdoor showers were so refreshing after a day playing in the pond there on site.
We were shocked there we not more people staying. We will definitely be back!

This camp has beautiful views overlooking the lake. It’s very clean, private, and the hosts are the best people. Michelle went out of her way to accommodate me and my dog Olive when we needed it. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Stay at Rocky Creek Ranch!
Our stay at Rocky Creek Ranch, hosted by Michelle, was nothing short of amazing. The views of Harper’s Cove on Greer’s Ferry Lake are absolutely breathtaking — the kind that make you stop and just soak it all in.
We brought our 25-foot travel trailer and had zero issues getting in or out. The site offered plenty of space, giving us room to spread out and relax. Michelle has thought of everything for campers’ comfort: clean showers with very hot water, towels provided, and even extra touches that make the experience feel special.
One of the highlights was their beautiful man-made lake with crystal-clear water. We enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks, and the nicely built floating dock — complete with a tiki bar-style umbrella and seating area — made for the perfect spot to unwind.
Michelle was an incredibly accommodating host, making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience and will definitely be back!

Lovely, well care for spacious property with lake view and a private pond. Easy place for campers who seek privacy to find it here. Host was welcoming upon arrival and appreciated the helpful communication. Just two miles down the road found an old boat ramp that some people continue to use and place to access the lakes shoreline.

Gorgeous property overlooking Greers Ferry Lake. It’s a large open space with lots of trees and you can set up wherever you like. We pulled our teardrop into a space that gave us almost total privacy, which we loved. It was quiet and peaceful. The hot water outdoor showers are amazing. Probably the nicest outdoor showers we’ve ever used. The water pressure and hot water availability was excellent, plus Michelle provided towels for folks to use, which is a really nice touch. We set up our own compostable toilet, but she does have an outhouse on property for campers to use. We would definitely be happy to go back again!

Our group had a great experience at Rocky Creek Ranch! The view of the lake and surrounding hills was beautiful, with plenty of opportunity for star-gazing. There was room for everyone to set-up their tents and the outhouse was clean and well set-up for our stay. Even with a burn ban, Michelle found a way to offer the full campout experience on cold nights. They went above and beyond at every turn. Our group enjoyed a few hikes, kayaks, playing outside, and visiting with the sheep. We would love to come back!

This is by far one of my favorite hipcamp locations we have visted. She is an absolutely lovely wholesome women. She wait for us at the gate gave us a quick little tour, she had our firepit startedup ready for us. The pictures do no justice for the view of the lake. Your are up on a hill over the lake. It's completely quiet and peaceful. Plenty of activities to do near by. She has kayaks and paddle boards to use. Please tip her. She works very hard to make sure your comfortable.

This was by far one of my favorite places to go camping! The area was clean, well-maintained, and of course, beautiful. It's so quiet and peaceful here. The view is spectacular, and at night, the stars are incredibly visible in the dark sky. Michelle is a fantastic host—she made sure we had everything we needed and was super kind. They also provide paddleboards and other equipment for activities at their pond, which is just a two-minute walk away. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! Thanks again, Michelle!

We really enjoyed staying on Michelle’s land. She was flexible with our check-in time, met us at the front and escorted us out to our tent site. All the amenities on site were awesome, the showers actually had great shower pressure and hot water. At night, it’s very quiet and peaceful with enough clearance through the trees to see the stars. Will recommend this site in the future!

This was an amazing campsite with great amenities and friendly hosts. Sean and Michelle were very friendly. They showed us their sheep, refilled an ice water cooler every day, and there was plenty of firewood available. The view of the lake was beautiful and it was a short hike away. The campsite was dog friendly and I would recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to camp in the ozarks.

Beautiful land with parts overlooking the lake. They have a pond with a pedal boat and kayaks. The camp site are spread out so you have plenty of room and don't feel too close to other campers. They have fire pits and showers. They even were so kind enough to supply us with some firewood and a bag of leaves. There are piles of more smaller logs and twigs they have between camp sites. They also have chickens on the land and offered us fresh eggs for our breakfast. They really made sure we we had a great stay. Their hospitality was outstanding. Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Michelle's campground. It has a truly beautiful view of the lake and is quiet and peaceful. Both Michelle and Sean were friendly and easy to communicate with. The campground itself was well maintained and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful spacious and absolutely perfect location for experiencing the eclipse! Even though that won’t happen again for a few decades, we’ll definitely be back soon! Everything was perfect. Nice cozy cabin, nice amenities, beautiful tranquil location on the Ouachita (Wa-cha-taw) river, gracious hosts. Michelle was a thoughtful host, eager to please. Travis was diplomatic as her presence on scene and Master-of-Arms.
I'm on WHEELS now. It was easy to get around in the main floor. I brought a folding 3ft aluminum ramp to cross some gravel at the front entrance. The river bank was out of reach for me due to the incline but the screened and unscreened porch and deck overlooking the serene Ouachita were accessible with the ramp. Upstairs was not accessible so my son's family stayed up and I stayed down. Just as well for all.
Phone reception was flawless even for streaming, sat dish for TV and music and a cd/DVD player. No wifi no internet for pc's etc. Use smartphone as wifi. If you enjoy to the fullest extent the activities possible here during the day, you'll be too tired at night to miss the internet!
Night is dark here, bring your telescopes and binoculars for the night sky wonders.
They provide bug repellent. It's NOT NEEDED INDOORS but outside at night it's handy. Lots of fireflies in early April, should be spectacular in summer.
I WILL BE BACK!!!

We loved camping at Rocky Creek! Sean & Michelle were super responsive and welcoming. They put on an outdoor movie for our stay during the eclipse, and even shared a few of their farm fresh eggs with us for breakfast - truly wonderful hosts! The view of the lake is spectacular, and access to the private pond was so nice. My husband raved about the quality of the outdoor shower. All around top-notch experience, would highly recommend!
