Made a last minute reservation and got in, no problem.
Easy in and out on a motorcycle, pitched a tent in the back. Was nice and level, would stay here again.

The hipcamp spots are separate from the RV park meaning you will get a quiet night with lots of privacy. The park is located just minutes from the interstate. Perfect for someone in transit and not looking for a longer stay.

Gary's land is just south of I-40 and a great place to catch a nights rest before heading back out on the road. Gary is super accommodating and extremely nice.

When I arrived I realized they also had hook up sites. A quick call to the owner Gary and I was "hooked up". Gary came by later in the evening to make sure everything was ok and I add Gary to cool people I've met in the middle of no where list. You can tell Gary really cares about the people who are staying at his little park in the middle of no where. On a side note my few interactions with the locals were all the same way. They took 5 minutes to shoot the breeze.

The entrance to the park is on a side street
yet the address to the site is
actually the entrance to the host home. As you start to pull in you see signs that it’s not the entrance. You can see the campground in the rear of the property so I went a couple of feet
forward and fell the entry. There are two sites numbered but I found out by calling the host that those were not the ones. The space for this booking is further away near the trash bin. It very quiet for sure except that the people who live on the rv park go there to dump their garbage and I found it unsettling 2 cars at night who decided to throw away their trash.
There is supposed to be municipal water but I never found the spigot
The host was very friendly and came out to welcome me in the late afternoon.

A Small RV park off of I40

This was a quiet place to stop for a night while driving from SW CO to WNC. We, honestly, didn't realize it was an RV park--which was our fault--but the host, Gary, placed us a little away from the dozen or so parked campers so we had some space to relax after a long day of driving. Gary was responsive and pleasant to interact with.

This was the perfect spot to stop for the night! I had a long road trip and got on the road pretty late, so didn’t wanna stop for too long. Gary’s place was easy to find, super quiet, and safe! I was travelling as a solo woman and had no issues. Would recommend if you need a good night’s rest on your way!

H&G RV Park and Campground was as advertised... A nice quiet place to camp, yet only a couple miles from I40. I was the only tent camper until later that evening, but there is so much space to choose from that I was far away from everyone. I got a peaceful night sleep before moving on the next morning. Be aware as a tent camper that there are no amenity on site yet. If you're ok with that, I would definitely recommend

I needed a quick stop close to the road, and this place worked perfectly in short notice. Gary made sure I got to the right place (it wasn’t hard) and gave me intel on local food.
If you need a stop and are in this area, definitely recommend.

This place was a good spot to stay over night in our tent. The owner was there at check in, which was 9pm for us because of our long drive. He was very kind and directed us right to the tent camping spot. There was plenty of space between tent camping and RV parking. In the morning as we were packing up the car, the owner checked in on us again, which we appreciated.
To anyone who isn’t used to camping in Arkansas, there are a crazy amount of bugs, so bring bug repellent spray, candles, and keep your tent closed.

The thing I love about Hipcamp, is not only the unique properties, but the people you meet… especially the owners.
The host, Gary is the best. I enjoyed talking to him and learning about the history of the property.. and it was a popular spot! He had quite a few spaces, some with power, and some without. Very fair price for the added power, and an Ana I g location about a mile off the interstate… near a Loves station! No highway traffic sounds and very peaceful.

This was my first stay at a Hipcamp and I was pleasantly surprised! Gary's place was peaceful and beautiful! It was certainly what we needed after driving all day. I liked that it was in separate from the campground and it was like having the whole place to ourselves. Gary was responsive and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this Hipcamp and stay here again if I pass through again!

The park is easy access to I 40. Shopping and gas are close by. The host is great. I came in after 9pm and he came out and helped me get into a spot and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. This is not a destination type place but a great place to stay overnight while traveling across middle Ar. I loved it and I am sure I'll make this stop again. Thanks Gary!
