Gateway Getaway was welcoming and accomodating. My wife and I hauled a teardrop camper into Gateway. We were bummed to not have a water line to our camper due to freezing weather conditions, but we were more than happy with the provided washroom inside the camp building. The building had space heaters, washer/dryer, and hot water which made our stay easy and delightful. Ashlie even offered to bring us some goods from town on her way out to take care of the camp grounds.

Beautiful.property! We enjoyed two nights at the Gateway Getaway. RV spots have full hookups with 30 amps. NIce spot with lots of trees and privacy. Cabin on the property is now a nightly rental. There is a toilet, shower, laundry and rec area. Very clean. Close enough to town to enough shopping and other activities by day. We will definitely be a return customer.

Every time we stay here it is so welcoming! Amenities are so much more private and fancy than other camping places; I bring all of my kids and they play from sun up to sun down and even in the dark. It is so close to so many fun things to do; Eureka Springs is fun and quaint and we hike and shop and explore caves and make s’mores! Memories forever....

The campground was fully shaded with convenient hookups. It was great to have the option of access to a refrigerator in the barn because it was hot and the refrigerator in our camper was slow to cool down. It was nice to have a good size area to walk our dogs. Unlike the listing photos and reviews there are no chickens or dogs on site, which was good for us. The place was clean and maintained and we felt safe in the area. This was my first time with a camper instead of a tent. It was a little tricky backing the 20ft camper into the spot. Anything larger might be tricky unless the driver is experienced and skilled.

Enjoyed our experience. Clean bathroom and shower, access to a refrigerator, games and laundry facilities a big plus!!! Located off a busy road, expect to hear traffic during the day, but it is quiet at night. Check in was easy and our host was quick to respond to questions. Would camp here again!!

We were looking for a place to getaway and this was perfect! Everything we needed to feel like we were glamping with bathroom/shower and refrigerator. Lots of shade trees for hanging our hammocks and more amenities were there we didn’t need but it was nice to have available. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time! It was camping with the bonus of the beautiful bathroom with hot water! Easy to find. Ashlie was great. She brought us ice and the cutest eggs. Right on the highway, but set back enough to be safe. Super pretty setting.

We enjoyed our stay at Gateway Getaway! It was close to Beaver Lake, Lake Leatherwood, and some waterfalls we wanted to track down. As it was November we had the entire place to ourselves and our own private cute bathroom so we were somewhat spoiled! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Gateway Getaway. It was perfect for a last-minute escape from Bentonville for the weekend. The chickens and ducks were loved by all of us, and the eggs from the chicken coop were delicious. The kids loved playing on the swing. Ashlie was a great host. I highly recommend this spot and am looking forward to my next visit.

I didnt know what to expect as this was my first experience with Hip Camp. The hosts Ashley and Josh were the best. The facility is magnificent. They have a great bathroom with all the amenities. Clean and well matained. Bath towels, shampoo, washer dryer , refrigerator, and fresh eggs. Dogs and free roaming chickens add character to this lovely campsite. We came up with our toy hauler and Harleys to ride the Ozarks. Everythi g was perfect.Can you tell that i really loved this place?? Great job Ashley and Josh.

Ashlie and Josh are excellent hosts. They are very accommodating to their guests. The location is nicely shaded and intimate with just three sites. They are perfectly located to access many of the great features of the area such as Eureka Springs, Rolling River, and Leatherwood Trails. Looking forward to another visit.

Ashley is charming and dedicated to her guest. Morning call is great, as the roster greets you with a joyful crow to let all know it’s dawn, days are busy as the tragic is expected but respectively, when evening comes, hardly a sound is heard. Beautiful experience, Teyia and Archer were pleasant and welcoming as we are pet owners as well. On a scale of 1-10, 67.5, love this place and look forward to using the same site again in the future. Hip camp, you have a winner here !!

Gateway Getaway is quiet and just like staying with an old friend. Ashlie is a wonderful hostess and we are inspired to start a small campground ourselves after staying here and seeing what fun it could be. We can't wait to go back!!

Location was wonderful. Tucked away just enough but just miles away from beaver lake. Camp sites were very well maintained and spread out just enough to feel like you had your space to yourself.

We had a wonderful experience at Gateway Getaway! I highly recommend it! We can’t wait to come back! This was such a neat camping experience! Ashlie was so personable and sweet! Her dogs were so much fun! They all welcomed our dogs with open arms!

We had a wonderful stay at Gateway Getaway! Our hosts were warm and welcoming, offered lots of suggestions for fun things to do in the area, and provided excellent amenities. We also had a lot of fun playing with the chickens and their sweet pups. We'd definitely stay again!

Gateway Getaway
This was our second time at Gateway Getaway! We planned it just right for the last weekend of October to hit the peak of the fall foliage season. I've attached a photo of the spectacular golden canopy above our campsite! Ashley added an oil heater to the deluxe bathroom which was so comforting as the weather was a lot colder! We had a great time: we hired Mike as a trout fishing guide providing everything we needed to kayak to our fishing spot including waders and poles! And we went to the Zombie walk in Eureka Springs! Ashley is familiar with all the local trails and she recommended the best one for our friend who is a breast cancer survivor-had lots of benches and scenic waterfalls!
