Campfire with friends
David was very communicative and helpful through the booking process. The site is situated in a beautiful part of town and the space is very quiet. Perfect for a peaceful night under the stars.

Close proximity to Saguaro NP west
Great spot for our 24ft RV. Level ground and there were so many birds in the gardens there.
The visitors centre at Saguaro NP West is only a scenic 10 minute drive away. Some trailheads even closer. The Desert Museum is only 15 minutes drive.
Great communication from David. Property was easy to find.
Would stay again

Perfect spot for the night
David provided a safe, clean, easy to get to location for us to stay for the night on our road trip. His property was beautiful along with the surrounding location. The site was flat and the hookups were easily accessible.

Everything about camping at David's place was stellar! It was our second visit and, if we go back to the area, we'll camp there again.

Great full hookup stay!!
David is a great host and the RV site is level. The property has amazing wildlife to observe. It’s close to a road but it’s quiet at night. Super close to the Sajuaro national park and desert museum. Would stay there again!

A good spot west of Tucson
A nice spot, super convenient for exploring Sagauro National Park and the Sonoran Desert Museum, both within 10 minutes of the camp site. Dave is super nice, even provided a fire pit. You're right off a prett busy road, but it quiets down at night. T-Mobile cell service is fair, we were able to watch Netflix via our phone's hotspot. We would stay here again.

We really liked David’s spot. Near west part of Saguaro NP, full hookup and services plus a sky full of stars. We enjoyed our short stay and definetly recommend!

Pros and Cons
Many positive things about this site. It is very clean and level with good hook ups, lovely ironwood trees, birds, and very nice hosts. The negatives are the road noise since it is quite close to the road and the lack of privacy since there are neighbors all around and it’s so visible from the road. Would we stay there again? Yes! It has a very nice quality about it and it is mostly quiet at night.

The site was well laid out with plenty of room for our TT and our TV. David was a great host with lots to share about the area and his place. With close proximity to the Saguaro National Park, the views were spectacular!

Great campsite for two weeks. Very quiet. (Yes, there’s road noise, but it’s not too much with a white noise machine and it dies down at night.) Hot tub was much appreciated. Excellent location to the parks. Dave and his wife are very accommodating. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Great overnight FHU spot for us. Enjoyed being away from the city. Dave greeted us shortly after our arrival to ensure we had all we needed. We camped here in a 37' 5th wheel. Getting in and setting up was easy. Took a little wiggling to get turned around, but definitely doable. 😀

David’s land was a great spot to setup for a few days and catch-up on work. It had water, electric, and sewer hookup as well as decent wifi. There was also a nice hot tub area. David stopped by to check if everything was ok, highly recommend!

We stayed one lovely night here on our way to California.
Pros:
David is such a nice guy and clearly cares about the comfort and convenience of his guest.
A great space to park with hook ups , water, accesible trash and recycling bins.
Very pretty desert property.
Decent cell phone range for Verizon.
SAFE neighborhood… which is huge!
Cons:
There is road noise. Not an incredibly busy road and it quiets down later at night , however, the spot is right next to the road. Our white noise machine helped.
It is in a neighborhood so not a private spot to park with the next door neighbors right by us. This didn’t bother us one bit..just a heads up, though.
We kept getting kicked off the wifi. It could have been our phones. Thank goodness there is decent cell reception.
We highly recommend David’s place. This is definitely a spot that we will return to next time we are in Tucson … hopefully for longer than one night. ☺️

Great place to stay with full hook ups, close to parks for hiking, and host is super friendly and accommodating. My only downside was road noise. Still a wonderful 5 night stay.

Beautiful property, it feels like a little oasis where you can unwind. 5 min from the saguaro national park, and 30 min from Tucson. Our host was kind and welcoming, the spot easily fit our 35 foot fifthwheel with room to spare. It was so nice and relaxing, after having been on the road for days it was exactly the break we needed. We'll definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area! I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

Sonoran Desert Retreat
My HipCamp home this last week which was once part of the Garcia Cattle Ranch of Pima County, adobe home still standing. A labor of love, DiAnne and David have maintained this wildlife habitat and created a restful retreat in the Sonoran Desert. Meditation gardens, bird habitats, hot tub and Wi-Fi. What else could one want! The sunset through the branches of an old ironwood tree is the view from my RV.
