Discover the charm of a hand-hewn cabin tucked away among towering Sitka Spruce trees, offering breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay. This intimate cabin features cozy bunks with bedding, a quaint kitchen table, and an oil burning stove for warmth, providing everything you need to unwind in nature. There is a loft which has one mat and sleeping bag set up but can hold more if you bring your own sleeping bag. There is potable water available and electric to charge your cell phone. There is cell service and WiFi available. A battery lantern, cooler, coleman stove and outdoor privy enhance your stay. Climb down to the beach where you can explore tide pools when the tide is out and enjoy sightings of eagles soaring, sea otters playing, loons calling, seals and at times whales passing by. Watch fishermen setting nets some days and kayakers floating the waters. Hike the trails or try fishing. Perfect for those seeking peace, privacy, and stunning wildlife. There is a loft in the cabin where we provide another mattress and sleeping bag but you can fit more up there if they want to bring their own bedding. We provide three clean sleeping bags. You can cook on the coleman stove and get water from a hose on the property. We live on the property near the cabin in the summer at times.

One room cabin with loft in woods. From Homer fly into Seldovia with Smokey Bay Air or by boat with Seldovia ferry or Alaska state ferry. You also can go into Jaklolof Bay Dock from Homer with a water taxi and get a ride to the cabin with the Seldovia taxi or we may be able to pick you up if we are available. Sea Otter Cabin

The Sea Otter Cabin was the perfect place to enjoy the 4th of July. The cabin is situated with a beautiful view of the water and we’re able to spend an amazing night on the beach. Jan and Dave went above and beyond to accommodate us with everything we could need. The cabin was adorable and cozy in a picturesque location.
