We are inviting you to enjoy a peaceful, primitive tent/vehicle/hammock camping experience at a lovely plot just above the sandy banks of the Cumberland River. This site has electric & WiFi. Potable water available at the spigot near restroom. We offer a tree canopy covered, serene spot that offers river swimming, fishing, enjoy a camp fire or just plain nothing but peace and quiet. Each site is equipt with a fire ring. The drive way to the primitive sites is a little lane that wraps around a mountain side that leads to the primitive sites. Hikers, Horses and riders welcome, located a couple miles from Daniel Boone National Forrest, seemingly endless trails through some of the most beautiful country. Bring your canoe and kayaks. Located 16 miles from Cumberland Falls State Park. Located 11 miles from Sheltowee Trade Adventure Park. Located 11 miles from Kentucky Splash Water Park. Located 11 miles from Wal-Mart, restaurants and Pilot. Thank you for considering Clayton Geneva memorial campground for your camping trip. Please read the entire description including our rules and regulations. Also be sure to view the site map. The gravel driveway to the sites is passable with any vehicle. If you choose to use our alternate parking there will be a hike to your site, appropriately 1/8 of a mile. I can’t stress enough that it is primitive camping, there is a restroom available at the top of the hill.

Clean property with plenty of space. Limited river access but still able to get to it with no problem. The water was warm and only a couple feet deep at most. Great for wading and sitting in the water. Would recommend.

What a great time we had. If you ever want to go anywhere and be treated like part of a family this is the place to go. From the time we got there until we left Amber and Michael treated us like we was their family. Amber went out of her way to make the kids feel special every evening she provided treats for them to feed the ponies. Our last night she put up the big screen and had a movie with popcorn. The bathrooms was very clean and well stocked, even down to baby diapers. The camp site was all that we expected and more. Beautiful over look of the river and very quiet. Even had a grill for us to use. Thanks Amber and Michael we will be back soon.

We were overjoyed to host your family. What a wonderful group of grand babies. They are a pleasure to hang out with. Those ponies sure appreciate all the extra attention. We hope to see you all again real soon!! Thank you for this fabulous review.
