I am offering 2-4 sites as a startup attempt to offering cheap overnight basic camping spots in our 4.5 acre pasture. Property is located off of corner of Highway 56 and Lewelling Road in Osage County, Kansas. This is just a pasture. But it is minutes from several antique stores and 2 eaterThis is simple pasture that I keep mowed to 12 inches or less, and if I have a booking, I will mow an area down to accommodate your campsite and dig a hole for a fire. Dependent on wind/weather and local burn ban. Firewood is for sale for $10 for a dozen split logs. You can top off your water tank with the frost free rural water for approximately 25 cents per gallon. Wood can be left on site for you if ordered ahead of time. Water, I have to be present to assist you as the spicket is locked. Dogs are welcome on tie outs or leashes, but please crate them at night. we have neighbors, our own dogs, and coyotes. I can offer you some farm fresh eggs as part of your stay during the laying season for $3 per dozen. Overnight horses welcome, but horse trailers over 30 feet could be hard to maneuver from main road to site. Also, my fence is rough, so don't rely on it to keep horses in unsupervised. You can lead/exercise them in pasture or at your discretion ride them on gravel road. Please no riding on my property due to liability concerns. Regarding vehicles: nearby towns are atv friendly, but your speed limit on my property needs to be off idle/ 2 mph only for noise and safety. There is a great Tavern 1 minute away in the town of Scranton, Ks. There are also 4 Corners Restraunt 3 miles east on Highway 56, which shares a lot with a Western theme Christian church and a terrific antique mall. 5 miles west of Scranton is a wonderful Amish family ran greenhouse which is huge and very reasonably priced. We are 25 minutes south of the capital city of Topeka. Quite hours are hipcamp standard 10pm-8am. We do live on property, as you can tell from satellite image. I have marked generators allowed, but within reason, please. No big open exhaust high noise units, but muffled on board units or quiet "Honda" style gen sets shouldn't be a problem. I reserve the right to disallow the generators case-by-case if noise becomes an issue.
