Gothic Pod 2

This was such a great time - the drive to Dave's was beautiful and the stay was amazing as well. We stayed in Gothic Pod 2, which was extremely clean and cozy - and really just amazingly well built. Dave's property offers a nice hike and views as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Dave was ready to greet us when we pulled up to the camp entrance, and was super helpful and accommodating. The Gothic Pod is represented well in the photos -- just enough room for the full-size bed, bed stand, mini-fridge/microwave, and a couple of your bags and jackets in the corner. And really, that's all you need!
Wifi is indeed available in both pods, though don't expect it to be fast enough to stream Netflix. You're glamping; you should be spending most of your time enjoying the outdoors, anyway. :)
Gothic Pod 2 has a little higher ceiling than the other Gothic Pod beside it, and has a full-size bed as opposed to the queen-size of the latter pod. Otherwise, both pods are essentially identical as far as we could tell.
Pod is clean and *very* well insulated. Turning the baseboard heater on the lowest setting was more than enough to keep the pod toasty on a night that got down to ~45*F.
Cedar firewood was provided along with a fire ring and wooden table that is shared by both pods. However, there's another fire ring, wood pile, as well as a picnic table just a few steps away.
The bathroom on site is a porta-potty about a three minute walk from the pod, though for less pressing matters, there's plenty of trees much closer!
The clay pizza oven is a little further walk than the porta-potty, and is at another camping area where Dave was leading classes that weekend. We brought our own dough and toppings, and Dave was kind enough to walk us through the procedure for getting the oven up to temp.
We stayed three nights and had a *wonderful* time! Hopefully, we'll be able to return sooner rather than later.

Dave's Pods are fantastic. So well built, fitted out with comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, heater, AC, USB ports. Dave was great with communication - we arrived late due to a long drive, and Dave still met us and showed us around. Highly recommended.

Dave was a great host! The camp was very clean and he had the cleanest porta potty I’ve ever used! There where many little touches Dave left around camp that made the whole experience very special!

Dave was a great host and the pod was comfy (waaaaaay better than a hotel room). We were only passing through but got to explore the property and have a fire. Definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Gothic Pod 2! It was a great campground with a relaxed atmosphere, the pod was comfortable, clean, and warm, and Dave was a wonderful host. We will definitely be staying again!

We really enjoy staying in the Gothic Pod, they are really warm and cozy! The camp is really excellent, and Dave was a great host. It right next to Tuttle Creek lake, so would be a nice place to stay for lake activities.

Great experience, interesting area, and the Gothic Pod 2 is outstanding. Dave was a great host and everything was better than expected.

The pods are amazing - very well-built and high-tech with air conditioning and electric outlets to charge your phone, say.. They're a little small of course, but that's fine. We also enjoyed outside the pod with picnic table and grill and fire pit to enjoy the time. When exploring the land though, couldn't really get to the water.
