Staying at Anna's campsite was great. There was plenty of shade from the sun, but we still got a nice breeze through the campsite. This is a very wooded campsite, so bring bug spray! We did, and the bugs left us alone. Only saw one tick the whole time. Campsite was clean and had a table and fire pit. The table was super convenient, because we forgot ours. Car can pull up into the campsite, which was great, because we had kids who didn't want to do a lot of walking.
In the evening, definitely walk up the hill leading into the campsite and watch the sunset! Also, a good field for stargazing at night too.
There were some trails leading around the land, but if you want to do even more hiking, Lake Red Rock is only 5-10 minutes away, and offers lots of great outdoor activities. But staying at Anna's means you can enjoy Lake Red Rock without having to share a campground with noisy neighbors and too many people.
All in all, it was easy to find and everything was very convenient. I would recommend to anyone that wants a quiet weekend away.
Had an amazing stay at site #4! Very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely return!
Great place!!!
Selfishly, I do not want to give a great review because I want to have this place available whenever I want. HA! Alas, I can not give a bad review. This place was amazing. Anna has created the perfect space for camping and I can not wait to get back!
Great host!
Everything was perfect! Anna was a wonderful host, going above and beyond expectations with her hospitality. The site was spacious and very private. Land was beautiful and quiet. Sunset was out of this world. The treed area was perfect for escaping summer heat, don't forget your bug spray and a couple of citronella candles though. Fire ring set up was perfect for cooking a few campfire meals. To say we loved everything is an understatement. If we're ever in the area again, will definitely stay here again.

Loved the setting. If you’re looking for a an off grid site within reasonable distance to city amenities look no further. We’ll be back.
We had a very enjoyable time. We stayed in a tent at site 4 which was in the woods. There were others at the other sites however the sites are spread out well so they do not interfere with each other. Two of the ponds were in a short walking distance and the compost toilet was a short distance up the hill from the site which was great.
