Peaceful and well cared for

Jacob was really helpful and communicated promptly. This was a great value for a place with a bed, shower, kitchen and bathroom I was in a large cabin with 20 bunk beds. I had my own linens but there were towels and microwave worked well.
I felt strange sleeping alone in such a large space, even though it was very secure. Likely a great deal for 2 or more people. It is a religious camp. That was fine for me but might make some people uncomfortable. I would definitely stay there again as it was a peaceful, safe, and clean space. Thanks Jacob!

Jacobs spot is special. What an incredibly comfortable stay with excellent amenities up in steep beautiful hills not far from Louisville. Jacob was very nice and personable which was very appreciated. I definitely recommend this place!

This little cabin was perfect for my solitude time! Very quiet and peaceful. There is a prayer walk through the woods that was nice even in the middle of January. The cabin was so cute, clean and cozy and came with everything I needed! Bedding, bathroom with towels (bring your own soap), kitchenette with fridge, sink, coffee pot, microwave & toaster oven. It got down to 10° The first night I stayed there so it was pretty chilly even with the heat on and an extra space heater so I was glad to have my electric blanket with me! The second night it only got down to about 30° and I was perfectly warm. I loved my stay and can’t wait to come back! I may bring a whole group next time I liked it that much!

I was traveling to the Louisville area to run a hf marathon and was just looking for an affordable place to stay (a campsite) that also had showers i could access so i could clean up after the race. Jacob (the owner) ended up putting me in a cabin that not only had its own shower and bathroom, but was also fully furnished, with a refrigerator and a microwave, for the same price. I am very thankful for his generosity and my body was thankful to be sleeping in an actual bed prior to my run the next day. I put up my fastest half marathon time in at least 4 years!

I had an amazing time staying here. I was looking for a place to get away for a couple of days to disconnect from the world and reconnect with God and myself. This was the perfect place! Hiking trails, beautiful cabins, a great community center, and disc golf baskets. Jacob was very welcoming when I arrived. He took the time to introduce himself while it was pouring outside! Much appreciated! I highly recommend anyone looking to get away to stay here! I'm looking forward to my next stay!
