Hill Springs Campground sits on our 120-acre family farm. We are the 3rd generation to own this slice of heaven. Our campground is 'in the middle of God's country as we are miles from the nearest town. Our rolling hills provide hay for our cows & wood for the woodstove. We take pride in our farm and can not wait to share this experience with you.
All sites can enjoy the serenity of the pond (short walk), pick wild blackberries or hike in our woods.
Fire pits will be provided at all locations, wood can be purchased from our farm. (see extras)
Most sites have a picnic table and a swing for you to enjoy.
The sites have no water, electricity, or internet but generators are welcomed.
A toilet will be provided.
Please take all your trash home with you, including cigarette butts.
A few videos of the campground can be found on our Facebook page 'hillspringcamp'. If you are interested in the 2024 solar eclipse camping let me know. Spots will fill fast.

Hill Springs Campground #2 was a beautiful spot at the back of Bryan & Nicole's farmland. To get to the spot, you follow a short gravel road before hanging a right onto the grass into the farm. From there, you'll pass the pond and site #1 before site #2.
Our spot was at the top of the hill. It was a touch slanted, but I'd say you could easily fit 2 tents on flat land and maybe a 3rd if you lower your standards. Plenty of room for games or for the dogs to run. The picnic table and firepit were both nice. A small benefit of the spot is the tree line on the East and West sides. Less sun to wake you up in the morning! Also, at night, we had an excellent view of the stars.
On the property, we had fun exploring. We walked the grass road back to the pond and hung around there for a bit. Then there is also a tree lined path that takes you through the other side of the property. Off the property, Patoka Lake and the winery are both within a 15-20 minute drive. The farm is perfect for a weekend of peace hanging out on the farm or too leave for a day and hit the trails.
The wood bundle option provides great value. For the price, you get a ton of thick pieces of wood. 1 order would probably last you a bit over 1 night.
The only thing I feel like I need to add is a warning to those without 4 wheel drive vehicles. To access site #2, you go down a dirt hill and then immediately back up a grass hill to top of the site. If there is rain on the radar, the dirt hill will become muddy and much harder to get back up. Just know what you're getting yourself into.

Awesomely beautiful. Manicured pasture, on a hilltop overlooking a pond.

Charles! Thanks for your kind review. Happy travels, my friend.
