Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Make friends with our black Labrador, Juno. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, 6 goats and several barn cats. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm.
Activities for kids include helping with farm chores, hiking trails, wading in the creek and swinging on the large platform swing and soaring down the 50 foot hill slide.
Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm!

We had a great time camping at Heritage Farm for Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed the hiking trail, creek and ping pong table, and my toddler loved the tractor ride, slide, and feeding the alpacas. We brought a Class C camper and they had water available to to fill up and electric hookup. Overall, a really pleasant and unique experience!

I cannot recommend a stay or visit to Heritage Farms enough. This property is absolutely beautiful and picturesque. From the rolling fields with the alpacas and their babies grazing to the wading stream, 1800's-era farmhouse, the swing in the old tree, and the barns on site that made me want to redo my wedding right there - this place is pure magic.
We stayed with our two young daughters and our dog and cannot wait to go back. The owners, Tim and Beth, were absolutely wonderful letting us go about the property, letting the girls feed the alpacas, play with the barn kittens (which was, hands-down, their favorite activity of the whole trip) and told us all about the grounds and the work they do.
They had a 30-amp hookup and toilets for use - were in great, clean shape.
I am so glad that they opened their farm to the public to stay - it just feels like a very special place. Do yourself a favor and book, right now. Or don't... we want to be sure we have a space to camp when we come back. :)

Perfect back to nature stay with kind and respectful owners. The farm and accommodations were clean and premier (2 outdoor potty’s were quite nice). Guests are welcomed to explore the land and a cooling creek.
The welcoming critters (Labrador Dog, few free-ranging chickens, a few cats/kittens and a meandering deer) were great entertainment for me and my grandchildren. The Alpaca’s were the best and I learned about these gentle creatures, their wonderful fiber and I was unexpectedly able to witness the birth, of a baby alpaca!
Tim and Beth made certain that I had everything I needed and Tim helped me as I wrestled some camping equipment which I was trying to set-up alone. They have welcomed me back and I cannot wait!!

I had an amazing visit and was able to watch an alpaca be born! I plan to return next year.
Tim and Beth are warm accommodating hosts. Their land and facilities were immaculately clean. They simply go above and beyond what any host would need to do. They graciously allow guests to explore their land and creek.
The natural gifts of mother-nature filled my “city girl’s soul”. I learned about gentle alpacas and their fine fibers. Juno their dog, three kittens, a sweet black cat and a few free-ranging chickens where my entertainment, as I watched the alpacas graze so peacefully! My family and I had a wonderful stay!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The best nights sleep I have had in months. The farm was so beautiful and peaceful. Was impressed by the informational email they sent to us before our visit. We felt welcome and well cared for by our host and hope to return in the future. Thank you once again.
