Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Make friends with our black Labrador, Juno. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, 6 goats and several barn cats. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm.
Activities for kids include helping with farm chores, hiking trails, wading in the creek and swinging on the large platform swing and soaring down the 50 foot hill slide.
Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm!

A perfect quaint getaway from the busy hustle and bustle of the city! We had a large group of 16 people and they were super accommodating to us. There’s plenty to see on the farm and more importantly plenty of peace and quiet as well. All of our kids want to go back next year.
We stayed in the house to just celebrate my Mom's birthday and enjoy some family time. My granddaughter was enamored with the barn kitties. So cute! The alpacas are just funny animals that just give you joy to watch them. We had a great experience, and we are looking to come back.
Very relaxing home. We stayed in the modern country farmhouse with a group of extended family. The alpacas roamed right outside our back windows. The walking trails were well manicured and Tim even made pizzas in the wood oven for our group. Juno, the kitties, chickens and alpacas were a hit for all.

Such a fun, unique and relaxing get away!
A friend and I decided we wanted a trip before the chaos of school started. We wanted to take our girls (16, 13, 12, 11) away for something different and fairly secluded so we felt we could safely distance from others. This was the PERFECT spot! The kids were able to go off and do their thing. The kittens in the barn were a favorite. The house we rented had EVERYTHING we needed to make it a great stay, The kitchen was AMAZINGLY stocked with anything you could need for cooking. The grill was a great grill. The whole house was very clean and spacious. Easy to walk anywhere on the farm.
The kittens were so sweet and the chickens, well, the fresh morning eggs were sooooo good. 6 of us may have eaten a dozen eggs each day we were there! And of course, the adorable alpacas. They are so cute and curious. It was so fun eating breakfast on the patio and having them watching you to see what you were up to.
I would recommend this for a girls weekend, family trip...anything where you are looking for a unique experience!

We had such a lovely and relaxing weekend and can’t wait to get back there!
My family was looking for a quiet place where the kids could roam around and we found it at Heritage Farm. Tim and Beth were great hosts and very attentive. We will definitely come back.

The farm was the perfect place to relax and unwind. There were hills where the alpacas grazed, a creek and tree-swing for the kids to play, and sunsets over the open field. We gathered eggs and fed the alpacas in the morning, and cooked smores over the open fire and chased fireflies at night. The owners were incredibly kind and were more than accommodating with anything we needed.
Our stay at Heritage Farm exceeded our expectations! The guest house was beautiful and clean. The farm is so peaceful. The owners were friendly and accomodating. We couldn't have asked for more! It was a fantastic experience for our 7 year old city dwelling daughter We will definitely be back!
The house was lovely and decorated for Christmas. We wanted to cook Christmas dinner and the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, pots, pans, utensils, that we needed. There was plenty of counter space for working and serving. The fireplace made a natural gathering place and the game table was fun for keeping kids entertained.
We did get chilly in the bedrooms at night. Guests might like to bring an extra blanket or ask the host for a couple of extra covers.
Visiting the alpacas was certainly the highlight. My youngest is still talking about how they ate right out of his hand. He enjoyed the friendly dogs as well.
There were a few things that weren't perfectly clean and ready, but they were minor and quickly taken care of when we arrived. Overall, this was just right for meeting up with family and spending time together.
