I felt like family! gorgeous land!
I can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was on Dave’s property! He and the wife made me feel like family! I got some farm fresh eggs and even an offer of Morning coffee. The land is beautiful and the area set up very nicely. I wandered and enjoyed the horses, the doggies, and a little trail out back. Meticulously landscaped! Sun rose over the barn and the birds were lovely! I loved it here and hope to return on my way back home🥰 I also had two bars cell reception and was able to attend my zoom meeting! Five stars❤️❤️❤️
Best campsite ever!
We loved tent camping at Dave's! Dave was there to welcome us and give us a tour of everything we might need, and he went above and beyond to set up our fire pit and help us even when travel plans got complicated.
The place is absolutely beautiful! It's so quiet with the noises of frogs from time to time and the horses off in the distance. There are a few faint lights at night to help you find your way around. There are areas in the campsite where you could set up with or without light shining on your tent, depending on what makes you feel comfortable! We slept like a dream. There was a little "bathroom" station with a huge cooler of potable water, hand soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and the cleanest porta-potty we had ever seen in our lives - hah! We loved the cool little outdoor shower (in a hunting hide, so very private). There's also a table and chairs, which had been wiped down and sterilized before we got there. Everything was so clean, safe, welcoming, peaceful, and FUN!
We loved it so much and have already told our friends all about it!
I enjoyed my farm camping experience. Great hosts and the site is convenient to the the interstate and just west of Indianapolis. My small camper was provided power via extension cord and water was a few steps from my site. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.
Fun on the farm.
We had a great time at the site. It was spacious and beautiful. My wife loved being able to see the horses and walk on the different trails. The firepit was set up for us and we had ample privacy as we watched the stars each night. The only problem we had was the taste of the water, but everythinf else was perfect.
PS we visited Danville ans Shades State Park during our stay and they were wonderful.
