We stayed for a weekend and had a great time. It rained but we got plenty of fire wood and enjoyed sitting by the fire under the pavilion for a very relaxing weekend. We're definitely opening on coming back next year!
Nice quiet campground. We really enjoyed camping in the yurt. Nice quiet lake with a perfect swim area. Very close to Giant City State Park (dont miss it!... highly recommend a spending a day there hiking). Make sure you bring all of your provision with you to the campground as there is no camp store for ice, snacks, etc. Would do a repeat stay in the yurt, for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Manitowa! Our yurt was so clean and comfortable for glamping in April. The property is beautiful -- we loved exploring The Rocks, Pioneer Point, and the lake. We look forward to visiting again!
