Located on the scenic Sunnyside Peninsula, which is an easy 15-minute drive from town. Parking is on Sunnyside Road.Fabulous location to enjoy overnight camping on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, just an easy 15-minute drive from town. Flat tent site with picnic table, campfire ring with swing-over grilling grate, and private porta-potty. The Sunnyside Peninsula is known for being a great part of the lake for kayaking. Bring your water toys and enjoy lakefront camping!

Sunnyside Beach

Amazing beach-front site!

This is one of my favorite campsites! It's a narrow swath of land that butts up to the road above and behind the site, but traffic is light and wasn't an issue at all. The fence provides ample privacy. I loved that it is right on the beach. The swimming was great. The view was just spectacular. During the day the land across the bay looks natural and uninhabited. There is a fire pit, chairs, and a nice flat surface for the tent. The porta-potty was new and clean. Bring your water toys! -- I would stay here again.

Right on the water, quiet and good privacy with the fence. Portapottie was the cleanest I've ever seen. Highly recomended
